It was a first time for me - making my own perfume and I'm just so thankful that I was able to attend a session held by Ms Prachi herself who was so patient and nice throughout the entire session. I really did enjoy the whole process of making my own perfume and there's just no regrets spending the $125. Highly recommended 👍🏻

My husband and I signed up for the workshops for our date night. This was an experience for the senses. We did our personality tests. This was fun, as my husband and I exchanged our tests and shared our results later. We then chose fragrances specific to our personalities. The workshop staff helped us through every step. They were super trained and friendly. It was an amazing experience. Thanks a tonne team :)

My friend and I were due a catch up on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try something different. I found J’taime Perfumary through trip advisor(!!!) and thought we’d give it a shot. It’s based in Goodman Art Centre in East Coast. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor of the Arts Centre called Café Melba and we stopped to have a bite before proceeding up to the Perfume Room. There was only a small group of 4 of us taking part so were able to speak freely to the instructor and ask as many questions as we wanted.

We first completed a personality test that determined the type of scent that would make up our ‘signature scent’. Following the personality test, we then had to choose from a vast array of essential oils to create our first attempt; you do feel quite woozy with all the oils but it quickly passes!! You create a total of three scents and then chose the one you prefer to be made into a full sized bottle to take home. Both myself and my friend were stuck between two of our perfumes so we were able to have two smaller bottles made up instead of the bigger one.

At $125 per person, it is on the pricier end of the scale for an afternoon event but you do take home all three samples of perfumes (which make great handbag size spritzers), your big bottle (I think 70ml) and a great new skill!
