It was an afternoon and found this place by accident. As I have not had Korean food for a long time, I thought we give it a try. Manbok is just about the far right corner of a long row of eateries.
Although they had the traditional copper BBQ exhaust hoods on each table, we opted for usual dishes. We ordered a cold vermicelli like noodle and a raw beef bimbimbab and Korean beers. There was about 8 assortment of side dishes and pickles and they replenished upon request. I must say the taste and flavours were good and the waiter actually confirmed that I wanted the raw beef as I suppose many would be aghast at raw meat but the flavours were really good!
Service was friendly although the young Korean staff can only speak rudimentary English. That aside, it was a pleasant experience in this "far flung" place just across from Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.
