+Friendly Staff!
+Close to Mountbatton, Aljunied and Kallang MRT-Station.
+Alot of authentic food houses in the neighbourhood.
+Wireless Internet
+Free water bottles, Coffee/Tee and a water cooker in every room.

-VERY small rooms. We had a twin room, but the beds where hardly seperatable cause to small.
-The shower was just dripping, no water pressure at all. Check first before you start to use Shampoo, it might take a long time to get it out of your hair. ;-)
-Loud air condition.
-Floor was not cleaned during our stay.
-Flatscreen TV but the signal was too bad to watch it.
-In the corners of our shower, we had some small black "worms". (We killed them using boiling water!)

+-In the middle of the red light district. Not suitable for young ladies travelling alone. Never the less a safe place.

We stayed here for 5 nights and found the location to have easy access to MRT (5 min walk) to get to town and local eats. It is in the red light district, however tourists typically do not get bothered.
The rooms are incredibly small - we had twin beds and only 20 cm on the outsides of the beds and 10 cm between us....a little too close for comfort! beds are small, I am 5'7" and my feet and ankles hang off the edge. 2 water bottle provided daily and instant tea/coffee mix as well.
No space to put a few personal items and, although a stool was provided, there was no room to sit. Floors are swept daily, but it still is dirty (floorboards, vents). The hallways are noisy, esp between 11 pm and midnight and from 6 am on.
Staff at the front desk was not helpful at all, could not tell us which MRT stop to get off for tourist highlights, could not point is to laundromat or help with recommending one of the local food stalls for breakfast/lunch or dinner.
All-in-All this was one of the most disappointing experiences in my 10 years of Asia Travel.

Room Tip: we stayed on the top floor and did not hear street noise

Location is in the red light district. Not a problem as we did not feel unsafe and they do NOT tout for buisness, there are pleanty of cheap food in the area. The train station is 5-10 min walk to get into the amazing city.

The rooms are small but had all we needed and was clean and well maintained.

The room is quite small but still alright for couple like us just to have rest after day trip. There is no cupboard for you to hang the dirty clothes. There is no minibar provided too. What they provide are two toothbrushes, a comb, two bottles of water mineral, drinks, hair dryer, two towels. There is no newspapers provided. There are quite a number of places for you to have your meal nearby. But, if you are having early breakfast, nearby shops open kind of late. When you are leaving the hotel for your visiting around Singapore, the staff there will ask you to put the key at the counter. One thing I don't like is that, when you ask for a key, they will directly give the key without asking or checking or confirm whether you are really the one who stay in the room or not.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with small kids, this area seem not so suitable. For girls, becareful when passing around the area from MRT station to the hotel as I can see there is very less girls walking around at night. The location from hotel to the nearest MRT station (Aljunied) is still kind of far which you have to walk for at least 10 minutes. Visit around in Singapore is kind of nice and convenience as all kind of transport is available. During our visit to the Marina Bay, remember to go for early lunch or dinner as the food court is always full of people. We have been waiting and waiting for the seat to take our dinner. Have been waiting and walking around for at least half an hour to search for seat although we are so hungry.

We booked through agoda.com.au which kept the price down. Good value for money. Reception staff were quite helpful, even printing out our flight booking and future hotel reservations for us. Air con was not cold enough. Room was compact but can't complain for the money. Reasonably quiet in the rooms higher up.

Room Tip: Go for a room on the 6th floor if possible - windows and quiet.
