Description: Vida Vino, meaning 'Wine Life' in Spanish, is a place where the beauty and the vibrancy of Spain meets the classic elegance of the Mediterranean: in an honest space that pays homage to bygone days. Vida Vino is a destination for uncommon recreation, it is a space with a total dedication and attention to quality time, it is a space that celebrates life, and wine is just the host. Vida Vino offers an excellent array of wines and a simple but authentic tapas menu.

After many recommendations I finally went to try it and I was amazed by their jamón, their croquetas and of course, the wide list of wines! As a spaniard far away from my country, I have to say that it was lovely to find this place, and that I will for sure visit it again!

What to say? The food is seriously delicious. Such an odd position in the edge of Chinatown. Don't let the small size fool you. But let the food do the talking. Outstanding dishes - steamed clams and the fois gras. Despite the smallish size - flavour packed and mouth watering. One slightly sour note was waiting for the cheese platter. They forgot, but gave a glass of $20 wine for an $18 dish. One cannot really complain. Try it, you just might like it too. The wines are interesting and the glassware changes depending on what you drink. A good Spanish gem in Singapore.

A gem of a place. Love the ambience and the food, but what hit it right out of the park is the staff. Ask to be served by Paco - you will have the best time! He knows his wine and always has a story to go with it :) Just a great experience overall one filled with laughter all night.

After such a looong time searching for a nice spanish restaurant and finally i found the best one in Singapore! The service is great, the wines are amazing and the Jamón is unbelieveble... Like flying back to Spain for a day :)

Truth be told, i had wanted to rate this a 4 since there are always some areas to improve on, but then, i also ate at Lolla the next day, and the comparison is night and day. I wrote the review for Lolla but let's focus on VV here

Entered at 7pm and it was near empty. Good and bad. Went straight to the counter seating because i feel that's the best place to be, and you can interact with the staff. Ordered the Ferran Adria beer first, because we all need beer, and we all need Ferran Adria. The managers were friendly and chatty. They also recommended some wines but we felt the large bottle of beer was enough for us for 1 day. Perhaps next time

Ordered a succession of tapas - tempura zucchini flower, jamon/iberico cured ham, spanish tortilla, spanish breakfast and and the mini wagyu burger. They were all very good. Wanted to look at dessert but the manager first recommended the iberico pork which was grilled. It was very very good as stated by him. However we became too full for dessert

The spanish chef also came out and said hello, which was a friendly gesture. Both the managers were also spanish, and they seemed to have handled the crowd well and left everyone happy i assume

Just 2 areas i feel perhaps they can look into:
- the counter chairs were small, metallic and incredibly uncomfortable
- boy, are they pricey. $90 per person

Overall, probably 1 of the best spanish tapas places in town, if not the best
