walk-able distance to two bus stations (Bugis station and Little India station.) Very welcoming lobby area, free computers and internet. Every other traveler was friendly and happy to be there. Clean dorms, but a bit uncomfortable to share toilets and showers with both males and females. Helpful staff.

Rooms clean, bit strange having to leave shoes downstairs but whatever. Kitchen facilities aren't the best, but local food is so cheap that it's hardly an issue. Close to MRT station, and good cheap beer available at reception! Nice atmosphere too, would recommend.

Chose to stay because of price. Location was ok. Hostel had rules but weren't enforced. People wore shoes in the bathroom - ones that had definitely been outside and flip flops that likely had been outside so that was gross. They are all supposed to left at door and so bathroom not that clean.
Noise until after 1am- again supposed to be quiet after 11pm. Just felt wasn't very well managed- why have the rules if you don't enforce them ?!
Room was pretty depressing and bare but aircon worked. Room 6 very noisy as next to bathrooms and by stairs.Showers were sometimes only lukewarm too. Not many facilities for number of people.
Can't comment on breakfast as prefer local food.
Not much atmosphere and staff unhelpful. Got told by one member had to pay to leave luggage, another let us leave it for free.
Been to Singapore many times and next time won't stay here. Would rather pay more for somewhere cleaner and better run. Also not a massive fan of little India.

I like it here, very social and nice looking hostel. The staff are knowledgeable with good travel information around singapore and asia. Breakfast are so-so. wall plugs available only at the lobby, not in room. very clean and tidy. Location is better than other hostels. Definitely a good hostel if you want hang-out.

Really liked the atmosphere of this hostel, the communal space is really nice and has a great friendly vibe with super helpful staff and a free scooter tour of the city for those who can keep up!

Few downsides however - NO power sockets in the dorms (at least all 3 dorms on the top floor - so around 30 beds up there!) which means you have to sit with your phone/whatever downstairs in the communal area the whole time it's charging - I found it really annoying not being able to charge it overnight.

Also the 3 dorms on the top floor are obviously converted from one big room - the walls don't reach the roof and so the light from the next door dorm floods everywhere late into the night.

A major pro was free breakfast - toast and boiled egg and unlimited supply of tea and coffee!!
