I like everything about it. The fragrant rice, soft and tender chicken and the chilly sauce condiment.

This stall has been here for years!! (If i am not wrong, since the opening of the kopitiam, remember eating when i was schooling)
Seeing the queue, you can guess there should be some standard in the chicken rice. They sell so much chicken, that they dun bother to hang up the chicken at the display set. Anyway they are being soaked in icy water.

For $3.50 for a plate, i think it is rather reasonable for it. However the queue is perpetually long, so prepare to wait minimum 20 mins or longer. There are days that the chicken rice taste damn delicious, as well as time where it just taste so normal that you wonder why are u even queuing for it (maybe off-day for the chef), more hits than misses but chances are you will get a good plate of chicken rice.

Excellent white chicken rice with gelatine like skin and fats on the chicken (from soaking in ice bath). Super tender flesh, even the breast meat is juicy.

Only $3.50 for one plate, absolutely worth it.

Queue during lunch/dinner can be 30 mins or more, so try and come during off-peak if you want to eat this.

Just a note to those who think the chilli here needs work, the chilli is intentionally more clear, watery, and sweeter without ginger to compliment the icy chicken for a sweet fragrance. However not everyone likes it., and some prefer the traditional style. Uncle in chicken rice business for years, I'm sure he knows what the regular chicken rice chilli is like.

After Tian Tian Chicken Rice, I think this must be the stall which will actually require people to queue for more than 30min. We queued for exactly 40min slightly before 5pm on a Sunday afternoon. Why the long queue? Well, this appeared in "Where the Queue Starts" and the price is really cheap.

We ordered half a chicken ($12), chicken feet ($3), bean sprouts aka taugeh($3). Each plate of rice costs 50cent......

But, the problem for us was the diluted chilli which seemed to be prepared half-heartedly. Old Ma stated that the chilli should be really superb to the extent that one can finish an entire plate of chicken rice without the chicken.,......
