So we heard about puzzle rooms from their recent feature in our local newspaper. Finally got a day when we were all free, and we booked about one week ahead. It was quite exciting. After reading all the reviews on trip advisor, we were worried that we wouldn't make it out of the room!
We arrived on time. After a quick briefing and signing an indemnity form, we were led into the room and began our adventure. We did 'bailout' and it we managed to get through most of the puzzle within a half hour. Then we were stumped. Like other reviewers said, we finally used the phone to call for clues, which helped, but it was too little too late. Our egos got in the way and we didn't escape.
We still had loads of fun though. It was a nice break from work and life and we spent the whole dinner after that laughing about how silly we were and how we acted through the adventure. It's definitely solveable, but you need to be sharp and persistent and VERY CAREFUL. Don't be like us and jump to conclusions too quickly! Well, it worked for us most of the time, but haphazard, careless clue-jumping won't get you out of the room. Like the website says, no physical exertion is required (though we did sit on the floor quite abit, and you need to be able to squat or kneel or something).
We're hooked and looking for a date to try the next room!
