I went for a walk along the river from Robertson quays to Clarke quay around 11am and it was very quiet not very much happening and it was sort of mostly deserted but the opposite can be said at nighttime,I would describe Clarke quay and boat quay as very crowded and busy a lot of hustle and bustle what I wasn't keen on was being hassled by staff outside restaurants putting a menu in front of your face and trying to get you inside their particular establishment..s
We did a tour of the river which was very good and informative I think we paid 25sgd per person which I didn’t think was too bad. We had a relaxed trip down the river.
Doing a boat tour on this river is a great way to learn about the history of Singapore. Well displayed and areas around the shores of the river lit up at night.
Plenty of restaurants but most on par with Aussie Prices. We tend to eat at the local food stalls in China Town or Little India and just do a couple of the more upmarket restaurants.
