The restaurant originated from Kuala Lumpur (KL) and its Singapore branch just celebrated its 65th anniversary of its founding (in 1948). When we visited today, it offered 65% off the list prices of its three signature dishes. We had LTK Special (Ipoh Hor Fun served with shredded chicken & prawns) for $1.80 (UP: $5.00), LTK KL style (Ipoh Hor Fun served with shredded chicken, prawns, Cai Xin and bean sprouts in special sauce) for $2.00 (UP: $5.60),
LTK Tanjong Pagar style (Ipoh Hor Fun served with shredded chicken, prawns, chives and mushrooms for $2.70 (UP: $7.50), home-made broccoli beancurd ($11.00), and iced sour plum juice ($2.40). The last day of its special discounts attracted quite a crowd by 10 am on a quiet Sunday morning. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Food is genuine enough.
