Description: Opened in November 2012, The Halia at Raffles Hotel is the latest and third addition to The Halia group of restaurants in Southeast Asia. The 100-seater restaurant, housed in the premises of the former Seah Street Deli, is an inviting space with lush planted foliage complemented by wood-carved tables and daylight streaming in through classic French windows. The restaurant prides itself on a refreshing concept which encourages flexibility and communal dining, with dishes classified under "large plates" or "little plates" instead of the usual "appetizers" and "mains". It also boasts an al fresco bar, which serves up its signature Singapore Sling by Hendrick's.

Visted Halia at Raffles on a sunday for brunch around 230pm with my partner.

The separate brunch menu did not offer much choices (the usual extensive ala carte menu was also available) but we decided to order the grilled breakfast set (S$23) from the brunch menu.

It was an excellent choice - you get a huge sausage, 2 slices of toast, mushrooms, bacon and eggs done whatever style you want (i chose scrambled).

It may sound like any normal breakfast, but the qualiy of the ingredients and cooking was superb. In fact one of the best i have had - simple, uncomplicated and tasty.

On top of that, service was also excellent, certainly a rare trait in Singapore restaurants these days.

We will be back for sure, this time with our friends.

Really good food. Some great twists on established favourites. Cocktails were good ( if I remember right) and our group all enjoyed the food and the service. Odd that this upscale brasserie-style restaurant was so quiet for a Friday evening.

Expensive meal, could have been better. However, if Raffles is on your todo list, then enjoy the occasion, it is worth it.

We visited here for an event of Whisky Appreciation (SGD 80 per person).

It was an incredible night with a professional speaker telling story about Whisky to audience, and guiding us to try three different tastes of Whisky from year 12, 15 and 18!

We enjoyed the environment and atmosphere in Halia. Stuffs here are friendly and professional. We would consider to visit here again for menu tasting,

Tried their Executive Set Lunch which is available on weekdays only. It is a 3 course meal including coffee/tea. Food was well presented. Tasty and decent portion size. 2 choices per course. Located in a convenient location and great service. Looking forward to trying their ala carte menu next or their High Tea set.
