I wouldn't necessarily make a special point to go here, unless you happen to be within walking distance anyway or want to kill a couple hours between meetings.
It's a lot of silk shops one right after the next. Lots of restaurants. It looks a bit more promising than it is. And for souvenir hunters... there's nothing really to buy here - imo, anyway.

We spent an afternoon shopping at haji lane then as afternoon turned into evening the entertainment started. Just street music but what talent. If you are looking for an easy evening with basic food and entertainment hit Haji Lane it was amazing!

The Haji Lane is the street within Kampong Glam district which is full of quirky cafes, interesting shops , and has a very hipster feeling.
Inpersonny would definitely recommend to visit the bar “ Bar Stories” , they serve excellent and unique cocktails and the ambiance is quite cool.
Also Jia shop is very good if you would like to buy some interesting clothes.

Running parallel with Arab street, I stumbled across this place and found it quite interesting to just stroll by the quirky & hip, boutique shops that line the walking-only street. Felt strangely similar to the feel around Bazaars that I’ve visited around Turkey & the Middle East, although miles away.

Situated close to Little India and not a million miles from The Marina, I had not previously been aware of the existence of Haji Lane and it was a true revelation.

The narrow pedestrian only lane bustles with trendy shops, restaurants, flags, colors, wall murals and life in general.

It was a truly eye opening experience and I would go so far as to say a must see in Singapore...
