It's my first time away from my beloved country (USA of course) to some far away land. I'm a student on budget, so to save on money, I opted to stay in hostels. My first stop to Singapore was incredible. I happened to chance across Adler Hotel on Agoda.com, the place looks fancy (I was skeptical because it's a photo afterall) and the price was within my budget. But after reading trip advisor reviews, I booked it immediately. When I stepped in, the place was exactly what the photos showed. The customer service was also friendly and efficient to my requests.
What I love the most is the location, it's located in the center of all the recommended food from Yelp. So traveling to get food was super accessible. Another awesome thing about the hostel was the comfort and privacy it gives. The linens and pillows they used are of good quality. The receptionist told me they offer only 350 count linens (thats why!).
If you love hawker food at super cheap prices (about US$3 per dish), you will definitely love this place. If I come back to tour South East Asia again, I will definitely stop by!More
