This is a newly opened boutique hostel in Chinatown. The place looks exactly like the photos, was really well appointed and clean. Beds were the highlight with clean and hotel quality sheets. Curtains has a really nice touch to provide some privacy. The staff here was very attentive and hospitable. DJ heared my shuttle bus stopping and went out to open the door for me. He also allow me to check in early at 11am and help me with my luggage and assisted me with many queries and even let me have a shower 6 hours after I have checked out.

There should be more luxury hostels like this -- priced in between rock-bottom basic hostel prices and the high-end hotel prices. Very comfortable, great breakfast buffet (noodles, fish balls and sausages, dumplings -- not just Wonder bread and jam), pleasant and helpful staff, free Wifi throughout, clean and relatively large capsule beds with earplugs and bath towel provided. Showers are in same stall as toilets, which is a bit odd. Not a party culture, which is a pro or con depending on your demographic. Definitely a pro for me. Located less than a 5-minute walk from Chinatown MRT. Great time, will totally go there again next time I am in Singapore!

Booked for 1 night in early March, had so much fun that I came back the following week, extending a night after my business trip on the other side of Singapore.

Love the classy modern-colonial look with ambient music. Feels like a classy traveller's lounge.
Very Conde Nast. Yet feels very much like home.
The luxury look also attracts the a more mature, quiet crowd that values comfort. In the room for 16, you hardly feel or hear the others around. At breakfast, guests are so comfy in the common room that nobody was leaving but hung around to chat and laze around.

Rooms are excellent - the pods are designed well with length-entrance which gives a lot of space, and hardly induces claustrophobia as normal pods do.
Amenities : The locker is big enough for bags and the power outlets are well thought out (universal instead of the standard 3-pin in singapore, so no adaptors needed). The best ideas are the curtains - once drawn shut, feels like you have the whole room to yourself.
Towels and sheets are top grade with confortable down quilt and 2 pillows. Bathroom to guest ratio is excellent with 4 baths ensuite to the dorm. Circulation and lighting generally appropriate.

Service is excellent - the hostel staff are acute to what you may like and make recommendations accordingly. I've had help from the front desk with food and shopping options. The staff checked operating hours and provided transport options - very clear walking directions to nearby areas and impressively accurate taxi rate estimates! They offer opinions as peers, which is what I look for in customer service.

Breakfast is like a lottery - you get a different local selection every day. If anything else, Maxwell Food Center is 50m away. Adler joined us at the food center and recommended a good local breakfast, even if the queue was long (but nothing stops Singaporeans from getting good food).

Adler Hostel has so much brand potential - service and quality are just 2 aspects of it. The hostel was only 5 months in during my stay, and it would be great to see how far the brand could go.

Room Tip: If you have physical restrictions or large baggage, lower bunks are much easier to maneuver.

Booked one night and decided to extend for another 2 nights and booked for my next stay in Singapore already. I have to visit singapore every few weeks for work and I absolutely love this place. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, the curtains give you some privacy. The breakfast is good whether there is quite a variety of spreads for your bread and a small hot buffet selection. The lounge is excellent and very conductive for doing computer work.

The staff and other guests here are really friendly and courteous making the stay here much much better.

Room Tip: Top bed offers more privacy and some 'me' time, do email the hostel if you are arriving afte...

I found this place from people's words of mouth on Twitter. Indonesians are passionate about many things and one in particular is about traveling in comfort. Someone mentioned how comfortable, luxurious and affordable at the same time this place is in the heart of Chinatown, Singapore. When I had the chance to travel to Singapore, I immediately looked it up online and booked my stays from Agoda -which is incredibly convenient and fast.
Located just across the famous Hindu Temple, Adler is very easy to find. It's just 3 minutes walk to the famous Ann Siang Hill streets -where people hang out and eat- and 5 minutes walk to Maxwell Food Court, which has some of the best Singaporean food in town. Also very near the Chinatown MRT (by going through the Pagoda St. exit) and is right in front of a bus stop that goes to Sentosa Island.
The place itself it's very chic, kinda like a boutique hotel only smaller. The rooms are located on 3 floors. The women room is located on top (which is quite high if you're bringing heavy luggage) but I just love the concept! Once you get in, the place is like small cabins and each 'cabin', you get a curtain for excellent privacy, an earplug and towel for free! Plus, comfy bed, blanket and pillows. That's very important!
I had the opportunity to stay 2 nights and it felt like the best 2 nights I've had in Singapore for awhile. Warm breakfast is served at the Reception/Lounge area which is fine since the place is quite tiny. I love the ambience especially when I left early in the morning where the Reception plays really nice songs in the background. Adler thinks for everyone's need indeed. I love to come back again soon!!

Room Tip: Choose the Ivory Room for ladies and The Chamber for the men. I prefer the bottom cabin since I coul...
