Very disappointing, billed as viewing nocturnal animals is incorrect, almost all the animals we viewed on the tram were animals we had seen in the wild in daylight elsewhere in the world ok there were Hyena and Slow Loris, shut the "safari" down and let the poor animals get some sleep. If real nocturnal animals like Leopard were on show that would be true nocturnal.
The buffet dinner was run of the mill nothing to rave about and keeping an eye on the tram queue whilst consuming the meal can lead to indigestion, best entertainment of the night was the fire eaters.
Save your money towards a trip to Africa.

People advised me against this place but I loved it. The animals are really close. Do take all the nature trails that are on foot (the main trail is by a tram). The foot tours gives you a taste of the real rain forest experience. It was pouring when I visited, but still was a great experience.

OK we visited on a Saturday night, arrived just after opening at 19.30, paid for tickets, decided notebook watch the fire show but to go straight through to the tram ride around the park, oh boy was there a queue. We waited in the queue for around 50 mins, we were disappointed with the ride round. The animals we saw looked to us to be docile, we have been on three safaris, Kenya and Tanzania, and we have never see lions, elephant, or any deer that just stand there.
The map we were given makes it look as though we would see flying fox, marsh birds, otter, wallaby, possum, wolves we saw none of these and from memory the commentator did not mention them!
Would not recommend this

It is in essence a very, very nice zoo that you get to visit in the evening instead of during the day.

Consider going before the park opens to catch the Thumbuakar warriors. It's not a real tribe but the performers are really good. Grab a bite at the Bongo Burgers and enjoy the show before the park opens. However, the food at the Bongo Burgers isn't great and is expensive for the quality.

If there are tour groups the night you visit, skip the tram line and walk the nearest trail first. Then come back and take the trams when the line might be shorter or head for the Creatures of the Night Show. It can get frustrating when certain tourists cut in line or shove you aside trying to get to the front of the line.

If you've seen an animal show, you've seen them all. Creatures of the Night is just as choreographed and commercialised. Good for kids and first-timers.

Do take time to walk the trails. It's the best way to see the animals. They tend to come alive after 10pm. All the enclosures are fun. Wallabys roaming freely. Bats and Flying Squirrels flying by. The trails are quite dark, making you feel like you are exploring the forest in the dark.

Bring a poncho and mosquito repellant.
