“Fun experience”

This is such a unique and different experience and something I would definitely recommend doing. We took the tour on the tram and enjoyed getting an overview of the place. We then took a walk around the zoo, visiting the enclosures of many of the animals. We did get bitten by mosquitos so might be worth bringing some spray for that.

“Face to face with wild animals”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

The Night Safari starts in the evening and consist of 3 shows - The tribal show, animal watch in a tram - about 45 minutes and animal show for about 25 minutes,.

The tribal show lasts about 20 to 30 minutes and is scheduled at 6.45 pm, 8 pm & 9 pm (3 shows). 'Q' for the trams start at 7.00 pm. All these shows are simultaneously taking place at various places and therefore unless planned properly, one might have to spend more time to cover all the three.

The tribal show and the starting point for the animal watch tram are adjacent.

We were a group of 7 people and were told by our vehicle driver to go for the trams first which starts at 7.30 and ends at about 8.15 near the animal show, then q up for the animal show for 8.30 pm. and then walk up to see the tribal show at 9.00 p.m. which we did and we were ready to leave by 9.30 p.m. For those who are hungry, there are many eating joints for dinner

The tribal show (kerosene and fire combo) consists of 3 people but the event we enjoyed the most was the 45 minutes animal watch in the tram in which you see wild animals moving around not very far from the trams, as close as probably 7 to 10 meters; the animal show was cute.

So you will have a relaxed evening

It's been really fun! Very different to what you get during the day. The best part of it was the animal show. We have really enjoyed ourselves.

“Night safari - a different experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

It's not often you get the chance to see the animals by night and this was a real treat. Our tip would be to take the train on a tour of the park and then when that's finished, walk all the trails so you can spend as much time as you like observing the animals of interest.
One last tip, don't be tempted to get there at opening time as the queues are significant. Arrive about 45-60 minutes later when things have all cleared.

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

I'm not a fan of zoos generally, however the night time experience of seeing nocturnal animals in more spacious green surroundings made this both informative and pleasurable. The park is kept impeccably clean and tidy and there are numerous quality food outlets in cozy atmospheric settings. Staff friendly and enthusiastic ...well worth the visit.
