“Not worth the cost”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

For the cost we paid, we were expecting a much better time. Although the safari was good, most of the animals were either sleeping or too far off to the visible eye. The guide on the mic was quite inaudible and at times incomprehensible. Would've appreciated in-ear audio guides. Worth a visit but would definitely not go there again. Food was way over priced. Best if you bought snacks at some super market on your way to this place.

I came here 2 times... once in 2011 and 2012- there was alot more animals out in 2011 BUT it was really limited this year.. not to mention a couple of people ruining the experience by flashing their cameras in pitch. dark affer being told numerous times to not do it... not zoos down side as it was the individual... was quite frustrating though.
I really enjoyed the trip to night safari... definitely a must for people not scared of the dark!!

“Different sort of a view”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

Really good place to visit and take visitors. Night train set up is brilliant with animals being able to come up to the train whilst the more dangerous and bigger animals are kept discreetly at a distance.

“I was expecting more”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

It was a gorgeous environment, but it's like seeing animals at night, some are asleep, and some are hard to see, and there was not any wildly active night dwelling exotic creatures. There WAS a show, where they had trained several animals to perform tricks, and the fella that was the master of ceremonies was personable and easy to understand. If it had been $15, I would have been delighted, but by the time I ponied up the taxi both ways, and the gate fee ($42 SGD) it dropped the overall value per buck pretty hard.
