One of the finest streets for street food I have been to in my life. Such an experience of a lifetime.

A great place to experience a bit of an Arab/Middle Eastern atmosphere, and try one of the many good restaurants. Also, a fun nightlife area.

I found a trip advisor review suggesting Arab Street for silk before I went on holiday, an after talking to a fabric seller in Chinatown she also endorsed Arab Street for silk. They sell many other fabrics also but if you specifically want silk I would recomend a trip to Arab Street. There are many fabric shops next to each other. Any one of them had lovely fabrics. I stopped at Mahaco and they had just what I wanted.
There is a Mosque part way down the street.
The street is easy to walk to from the nearest MRT station.
