Very large and well maintained garden. A person could spend a day here easily and enjoy all there is to see

Quite a beautiful garden, unfortunately not the best time of year to visit since a lot of flowers were not in bloom. Very peaceful and tranquil space.

Beautiful gardens, very well maintained. A great way to spend an afternoon. We enjoyed strolling though the park on a warm Singapore day.

SIngapore botanic garden, a 74 hectare manicured garden offer you with tranquil experience as you explore deep into it. It is easily reachable, just hop on circle line MRT and align at botanic garden station.

Visited this garden as to see a different side of Singapore. They have that kind of 'rare' collection of plants from all over the world. Botanist will love this place. Scenic photographer will also have 'photogasm' in here. Be sure to bring your tripod to capture best scenic view.

As you entered deep in to this garden, you will find there are more separate garden attraction to visit. First to mention will be National Orchid Garden. You need to pay for 5 SGD to enjoy this orchid speciality garden. They have an awesome orchid collection, as if you able to differentiate them haha, for me all of them look alike. It was said that it has more than 1000 species and 2000 more for the hybrid collection. For me everything beyond 1 grand sounded a lot of them!

Second is the rainforest. A miniature version of rainforest, it was said that it was already established before the garden itself. The rainforest and its bigger cousin at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve are located within the Singapore's city limits. Singapore is one of the country which has rainforest within city, the other being Tijuca Forest in Rio de Janeiro.

Other attraction are evolution garden, ginger garden and many smaller themed garden like herb garden.

A large garden, beautiful scenery, fresh air, sounded like a very ideal place for jogging! No wonder you will find a lot of person jogging here in the afternoon. So better keep your treadmill alone and burn your calorie here.

Oh yeah if you feel like to fill up your stomach, there is a nice foodcourt in here.
