We had 2 rooms for 4 nights each. Following are the observations -
1. Rooms are small and doesn’t have central AC and ventilation system. Both the rooms were smelly.
2. ACs didn’t work - every room has 1 Ton split ac - inadequate for the room. It is ineffective for a double occupancy room. Couldn’t sleep because it was too hot in the room, asked the maintenance to check the AC, but nothing happened.
3. Pls do not believe the pics of superior room, they are way smaller in reality.
4. Rooms don’t have a wardrobe - there are hangers on wall next to bed.
5. Hotel doesn’t have room service.
6 Hotel doesn’t have bell service.
7. Calling breakfast a “buffet” would be blasphemy- three hot oriental non veg dishes and one veg. Fruit platter, tea coffee counter, bread basket, toaster, that’s it. Also, though the breakfast is complimentary, guests have to collect meal coupons from reception and give it to the only server in restaurant - don’t know why!!
8. Staff service could be improved - though Faroukh at reception was exceptional.
9. Rooms were not serviced for two days even when make my room sign was on.
10. No value for money - the kind of experience we had doesn’t mirror the per night room rate. Please go for ibis or any other hotel in same category- there are lot many options in the vicinity.

Very clean and tidy rooms. Roadside view from my room was a welcome surprise.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location of the hotel was excellent - on the main road, Bugis junction was 7-8 min walk and Little India 15min walk.

Hotel is clean and good but very small room entrance very difficult to enter with baby stroller . But it's clean and nicely maintained as well as it is near bugis market and it's center of singapore.one thing over there reception always insists in taking a cab but Singapore is accessible but bus and metro .in late evening we use to come by bus it is right across the street.

We stayed 3 nights at this good-value hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We had interconnecting rooms (2 adults and 2 kids) with a bathroom each which worked really well.

There was a good selection of food at breakfast and the daily maid service was efficient. The hotel is very conveniently located, with 3 MRT stations near by. Little India is close too and we had a delicious meal there one evening.

The hotel was a little noisy at night due to noisy doors but the air con mostly drowned this out and we all slept really well.

Went to Singapore with friends (their first time to visit Singapore) and I was tasked to be the guide. Having stayed in Summer View Hotel previously, I chose to book in this place.

The hotel is very nicely located: MRT is either by Rochor, Bencoolen or Bugis stations which are all just walking distance away, Bugis Junction, Suntec, Arab St. are all walking distance. Also nearby bus stations. Very near a hawker place, too. Across, there’s a 7-11. In front, there’s a drinks vending machine.

The service is OK, not exemplary, but ok. One lady (chubby-faced) was even not nice, not rude but not nice.

The cleanliness of the room is ok. I love that their towels are clean, fluffy and white. I am very particular on that. Considering that the hotel is not new, their towels for the 3 days that we stayed there were consistently clean.

The water pressure is also good, the water heater working Ok. Wifi is strong.

Downside: there’s no bidet in the toilet. No window also. To think that it’s called SUMMER VIEW HOTEL but there’s no window, no view at all.

Check in and check out were a breeze.
