This is an average middle class hotel. nothing special to complain at, nothing special to remember. Location is great though.

Hotel staff treatment to the guests is just as cold as the air temperature that blows from the central aircon in the rooms. Staff are not rude, but equally not helpfull. Do not be fooled, however, by the temperature selector in the room: it doesn't matter what you set, it will always be freezing cold inside and you will need a good blanket to sleep in full tropical summer. Breakfast is another trap: extremely overpriced and not included in the room rate (and worst - they do not tell you it when checking in). For less the half price, you can have a full meal just crossing the street. Decor is also outdated, but everything was working well. At least there was a nice bathtube where you can warm up a little to face the cold air in the room. All in all, it is a poor and overcharged place in a good location and, regarding we stayed there on behalf of Singapore Airlines, we can certainly say thet this place is obviously below the Singapore Airlines standard.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for under a week and the hotel amenities were ok but not great. One of the things that really annoyed me was the use of the internet in which you had to put a down payment of $10 on a LAN line cable to connect to a port hole with unreliable service, spending at least an hour just to connect! Not only that, the rooms would always be too cold once we got back even though the key wasn't plugged into the power system.

Most of the staff were nice and friendly and offered great eatery suggestions if you asked.

It was an okay hotel. Nothing fancy. The rooms were a bit old and small. The outlets were hidden from view. They do have good service and a very delicious breakfast buffet. I would probably come back because its cheap and has a good location.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to boarding our cruise ship and the hotel appeared a bit dated though the standards we received in all respects were very high. Our room was small but contained all the amenities one would expect-kettle,iron,hairdryer,combination safe and the standard of hygiene was impressive and the beds were very comfortable.Reception and concierge staff were very efficient and helpful. The on site restaurant was excellent and we had buffet breakfast each morning and this was excellent and we ate there one evening and the food was fantastic and delicious. The hotel was very central to all the sights allowing us to experience a lot of Singapore in a little time!
