We stayed in Landmark in Singapore in Feb 2013. The hotel is okay. Location is good as it lies in the center of the city and has close proximity to the Raffles hospital. Indian food was really excellent in the restaurant. Rooms were okay. If you are looking for luxurious place to stay, this would not be a good choice.

Our location is well liked by all our guests and we are glad to hear that you have found it great. We are located in Bugis, close to Bugis Village, Haji Lane, Little India etc. This provided our guests with many options, both business and leisure.

We do not set out to be a five star luxury hotel as we believe in "Comfort without Excess". We believe in providing value for money. We will provide products and services that are neccessity for our guests and not ask them to pay extra for things that they do not need.

Location is by far the best thing about this hotel. It is on Arab Street, right in the heart of a great neighborhood full of boutiques and interesting restaurants. The hotel is comfortable and nice. I was there for work, however, and had a very small room near the elevators, and the window was miniscule (perhaps two feet wide) -- no light and no view. I visited another colleague's room and it was larger, lighter and had a better view. I had two complaints: the walls are extremely thin, and during two nights of my six night stay there was loud noise (in one instance a very loud fight between a man and a woman and in another a gambling/drinking game going on into the early morning hours) coming from neighboring rooms. I was awakened and able to hear every single word and movement each time. Hotel management responded both times and the noise abated. My second complaint was about housekeeping. Nothing major, but there were small things like shampoo not being supplied every day (I hadn't brought any) and towels missing a couple of days, requiring that I call Housekeeping Services. All in all I would stay here again just for the location, but this is not a five or four star hotel.

Room Tip: Make sure to request a room with a LARGE window! Views from rooms with windows are very nice. If you...

As you correctly pointed out, location is one of ous biggest draw, other than service. We are sorry to hear that our housekeeping service is not able to meet your expectations. We would like to assure you that this is not our usual standards and we certainly can do better than this. We will brief our room attendants to take extra care to ensure a better stay experience for all our guests.

As for the room layout and walls, we take note of your feedback and will make improvements to it. We have renovated our Club and Deluxe rooms and this has greatly enhance the stay experience. We will continue to improve on our products and services to complement the great location of our hotel.

We stayed at your hotel in 2010. We where impressed by location, Hotel amenity s and price. Based on this we returned in 2013. Our hotel room had been recently upgraded, and on return to the room, I found cupcakes and a Teddy bear, as it was my birthday on the day we checked in. Velan who works at the front desk was very helpful, and made us feel special . Sue-Lin the restaurant manager was amazing, very helpful and even walked us to a bus stop in order to make sure we got to gardens by the bay. Thank you to both staff for making us feel at home. I will be re-booking at the landmark village hotel again!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view view, great night time skyline!

We stayed at the Golden Landmark two weeks ago for a week. Unfortunately my father was admitted to the Raffles Private Hospital (which was excellent) en route to Europe and my Mother, my sister and I stayed at this hotel as it was close to the hospital.

Having said that, I found the location very central, easy to jump on the MRT with great shopping and conveniences. It is in the Bugis area which is close to Arab St and walk to Raffles Hotel.
We enjoyed the authenticity and the activity of the location.

The rooms were nice; modern, clean and well presented. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

The stand out of this hotel is the staff. They are professional, friendly, warm and caring. Each one learnt our names and asked daily how our Father was. They took special care of our Mum.
It felt like our home for a week.

Some stand out staff members were Pushpa and Muhd Faiz on the front desk who looked after our every need and were particularly caring. In the restaurant Alex and Kumar were very attentive and warm. Each morning they greeted us with a smile, asked about our Dad and made room for us in the busy restaurant. Kumar added many thoughtful touches and made our mornings very pleasant.

The service at Hotel Landmark was genuine and caring. The hotel meets the criteria of a good hotel but the staff have made this hotel a stand out and worth staying at. This is a busy hotel but still personal.

When I return to Singapore for holidays I will stay at Hotel Landmark again and hope to see some familiar faces.

My family and I just spent one night at Landmark village Hotel in Singapore. I was impressed with kind and friendly service when I had a breakfirst at Lv.3. One of watiers, named Sulat Kumar, was specially kind. Eventhough my young son messed up the ground of restaurant
, he kept smile and hang out with my son. We appreciated him a lot.

The Deluxe room was newly renovated and was excellent in ambiance and facilities and had a pleasant stay for 2 nights. The front office staff was friendly and were very helpful on easy check-in and checkout. Even the hotel provides Free Wi-Fi Internet.

I was trying to book a cab through the hotel reception for my airport drop off, but it seems there is a charge of S$8 for just the booking, which i believe should been a service from the hotel of 4 star rating for their guests.

Our renovated Club and Deluxe rooms are well liked by our guests and we have received many good reviews for the rooms. As for the taxi (cab), the extra fee is collected by the taxi company if we are to call them. As such, we are unable to waive the fee. Taxis are available at our drop-off area without extra charges. However, during peak hours, the waiting time may vary.

Hospitality is very good especially mr.faiz in reception I always suggest Indian tourist to stay in this hotel because it is economically good swimming pool is clean and good food is very good location is also good little india is near to this location
