Location has always been one of our strengths. Near to MRT station (subway or metro), close to interesting attractions like Bugis Village and Little India. This makes a difference to all our guests.

From Changi Airport, it is on the same line and will take about 30 minutes by MRT.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to your next stay with us.

The central location has been frequently commented on, it's close to the MRT and Bugis shopping area. Also near a lively night time strip of bars and restaurants.

Check in was fine, however the staff member didnt bother to tell me that renovations were taking place on my floor (next door as it later turns out!).

The room was large, had a floor to celing main window over looking the mosque and suburbs. The bathroom was fine and well stocked with all the necssary sundry items. TV had a number of channels including Fox Premium, which showed UFC 158, so that was great.

The day renovations were noisy and when I mentioned this to the front office staff (after about 3 calls to the operator), the issue was capably dealt with by one of the front office staff named Brandon. He came up with a variety of solutions in a professional manner.

WiFi was really good. It never dropped out and I rarely had to re login.

It appears there are a lot of tour groups and a large portion of guests are from a certain demographic.

Given its an L shaped building, you'd be best off to ask for an inside facing pool /marina bay view

Id stay there again for sure, if I could get it around $150 SGD

This is an old fashioned kind of hotel. On arrival, there was no one to greet us. We took the escalator up to the reception area. The staff there by the name of Ben gave excellent service. We were informed that the hotel was still being renovated. The room we stayed in had not been renovated yet. The bathroom was small and the fittings were very dated. The shower still had a rubber hose attached as opposed to the modern stainless steel ones. The toilet and long bath had seen better days. The lighting was not bright enough for putting on makeup. However the hotel is situated in old Singapore away from Orchard Road which is devoid of character. The surrounding area Kampong Glam, Arab St has an old world charm. The shops were all restored to its former glory with beautiful shutters for windows and lovely doors. The buildings were painted in beautiful colours. Little cafes and restaurants dotted the area. It was lovely just walking around there and having a meal and coffee too. You can also buy fantastic material for clothes. For those who like Muslim food, there is roti channai and briyani rice.

Room Tip: Choose a room from the floors that have been renovated.

We acknowledge that there are still areas that we can improve, and we will continuously make improvements to both our products and services. With regards to assistance on your arrival, we apologise for the lapse in service and we are glad our Guest Service Executive, Ben, is able to recover the situation. As for the room, we will be completing the renovation of all our Deluxe and Club rooms. This will be completed by end of March 2013. We have received good reviews on our renovated rooms, and expect this will greatly improve the overall stay experience.

You have also correctly pointed out that we are located in interesting precinct. This is the charm of all Village Hotels, and we will also organise activities to bring the precinct to the hotel.

The room was very clean and the design looks a little run down but nevertheless me and my partner had a very comfortable sleep. We had a king-sized bed and the room was really spacious. Staff at the front desk were really friendly while the F&B staff at the Indian Restaurant were not that friendly. Had 2 choices for breakfast, Indian or non-halal. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. I chose the Indian Restaurant.

There was some renovation going on (we were on the 11th floor and renovation was on the 12th floor) and it can get really noisy 10am onwards but I don't blame them as they are doing their best to improve on the facilities. Did not patronize the gym or pool but later on I found out that the gym is open 24 hours with key card access.

The view of Sultan Mosque during sunrise was something to look forward to. Lots of food choices around the area and the biggest draw of this place was Arab Street. Arab Street is cool, hip and cultural place for youths or even people of all ages to hangout. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Landmark Village!

Room Tip: Choose a view of the Sultan Mosque!
