We stayed here for three nights in January. The hotel is a bit out of the way - it's a good kilometre to the nearest MRT.

The room was comfortable and well-cleaned. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are equipped with very thick curtains which didn't let any light through.

The room service was a little bland, though it was delivered promptly. The breakfast buffet had an excellent range - and it was tasty too. However, there didn't seem to be enough staff working at breakfast. We often had to repeat our requests for coffee as they'd get forgotten, and we saw people waiting 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were empty tables.

We stayed at this hotel from 28th Dec 2012 to 30th Dec 2012. Hotel room was very spacious with a queen bed and single bed. Another good thing was they had a shuttle bus from hotel to Orchard Road. However you need to reserve at the concierge. Breakfast came with the room and the hotel had a reasonable buffet spread.
Minus points were the lifts were undergoing maintenance and it took a while. Also there was a long queue for breakfast tables.
It was on the quieter side of Singapore and not as convenient . Taxis can cost between Sgd $ 6 during day time to sgd $ 12 around 11pm from Robinsons in Orchard to hotel.

Room Tip: Try not to get near elevators.Quite noisy.

When I enquired at reception the 'walk in rate' for a room at this hotel I was quoted 150 SGD per night for one person for three nights
Being tired from a long tedious flight and eager to get to my room to sleep, I hurriedly signed the credit card authorisation form presented to me (yes. I should have checked the amount to be charged, but just signed the form and took the receptionists word for it that the room rate was as stated 150 SGD p/n).
On checkout I was astounded to be informed that the 'walk in' rate was 300 SGD p/n, and was informed that that was what I had agreed upon. Technically this is correct, given that I signed the form to authorise this armount. I did submit a formal complaint and spoke at length with the manager about the contradictory prices. After a lengthy discussion I was quite rudely informed that I would recieve a 'goodwill' reimbursement of 150 SGD This, of course,.
should have been three times this amount..
Dont let the seemilngly 'helpful, friendly' staff fleece you too and please, unlike me. check the amount you are signing for. Never again will I stay there,

I was quite dissapointed with the size of the rooms. They also need to be refurbished. Was not also happy with the breakfast quality as well as the service was a bit slow. Location is good, 5 to 10 minutes drive from the Orchard Road. I relied on the brand Holiday Inn but was a bit let down.

Great location, short walk to hop on hop off bus stop and tube station. Unfortunately I do not like heights so requested a lower level room. The rating would have been higher but for the fact that we had to wait ages for our room to be ready. We arrived having finished a cruise late morning, asked for a lower level room and were advised it would be a couple of hours.

Ok as we were going to go out and take a look around. It absolutely bucketed down with rain while we were out so we got soaked, came back to the hotel. Advised there was a room we could use to get dry and changed as our room was still not ready. In the confusion of trying to find our cases to get a change of clothes before going to the room, we attempted to make our way on our own to level 6 (I believe) but not realising you can't get to that level without putting your door card in the lift (obviously we didn't have one). Someone on a higher floor had called the lift so we starting shooting up which freaked me out (glass lifts, great if you don't mind heights!) resulting in a panic attack as we had no control of the lift. Ended up back in foyer so went in the toilets to change and get dry, not great, no hand driers when you need them! Having said that after this unfortunate experience we went off to explore again armed with more brollies supplied by the hotel.

Having spent a soggy but great day exploring we arrived back at the hotel about 6pm arranging to meet up with our friends (who already had their rooms) in approx an hour, plenty of time to shower and change (or so we thought). We were disappointed to find we still didn't have a room! we were asked to wait in the bar and given a complimentary drink and they would come and find us in a short while. We sat for half an hour then gave up waiting, shivering from still being soggy we went to reception asking about our room again and finally it was sorted out, I think we kept being forgotten!

On a positive note the foyer was spectacular, beautiful flowers, rooms and pool area lovely. Shuttle service helpful.Staff friendly just wished we could have had a room a bit sooner (I understand that I asked for a lower floor, but surely it shouldn't have taken all day to get it).

The Atrium is stunning, but if you don't like heights you could struggle as the lifts are glass and the rooms are on the outside edge of the inner circle so don't get too close to the edge as you walk to your room! Ask for a lower floor before you check in.

The holiday inn atrium is in one word...... Brilliant. I booked this hotel as a mystery hotel on Hotwire.com. I cannot say enough about the staff and facilities. Breakfast is brilliant, we had a promo where our three kids ate free. plenty of selection and service was first class. Even the hot chocolates the barista made for our kids car with a lion, smiley face and love heart on top. Location is fine and a short walk will help you discover some great restaurants. Be sure to check out the convenience stores adjacent tote hotel. Great selection of the "small things you may need" including drinks, snacks and Singapore knick knacks. Pool is good size, aimed more at the adult aged holiday makers. Be sure to group to level 27 and look down, awesome sight. The only problem we gphad was the number of washing machines and dryers. Only 2 of each. Will certainly stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel claimed to be near the metro station, but it ended up being reasonably far - we needed to catch a bus to get to the metro. If you are using public transport in Singapore, this may not be your best bet. The rooms were very average, not really small but medium sized. Overall, very average experience. Breakfast buffet was good. Good value for money - considering Singapore is overall quite expensive.
