Very reasonable priced. The room is comfortable size and kept clean and tidy. The staff are friendly. They have laundry facility at the cost of $14.00 Singaporean dollars, you can do a load of washing and drier. They do not have spa but there is a swimming pool on the 15th floor.

Room Tip: Very good location close to transport. However, there is a construction going on so ask for a room o...

Thank you for choosing Bayview Hotel Singapore as your preferred choice and we are glad that you are happy with our location and enjoyed the good hospitality despite some disruption causing inconvenience from the MRT constructionn. We thank you for the understanding in this matter and apologized for the inconvenience caused. Upon the station’s completion in 2017, it will enhance rail connectivity between the eastern corridors, the Central Business District and developments in the Marina Bay area.

We look forward to having another opportunity to welcome you back for a memorable Bayview experience with us soon.

We only had a 2 day stopover and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Close to everything in Singapore, free wifi, decent breakfast, spacious and clean rooms and very accommodating staff. We requested an adaptor to charge our phone and ipad - no problems. We asked for an extra hour to check out - they gave us 2 extra hours. I would definitely stay here again as the noise that all the reviews were saying was not a problem and I am a light sleeper. For the tariff on the room we thought that this was good value for money for Singapore. Sure the hotel probably does need an upgrade but that was not a problem for us. 24 hour convenience store and food hall right next door make this just right for us. Couldn't really find any negatives - maybe the breakfast just passed.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the building site at the front.

This hotel is very reasonably priced for Singapore and is in an excellent location only minutes from Raffles. The room was spacious enough, very clean and beds etc were all grand. Nothing spectacular but nice enough. All of the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful and we didn't experience the noise that others mention. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and the food court and hawker stalls at Bugis ( just around the corner) were great!

Due to the work on the MRT the bus does not stop right outside as a previous reviewer mentions. We found that the easiest way from the airport was via the metro, alighting at Bras Bhasa. There was only one change en route and Bras Bhasa is only a few hundred metres around the corner.

Pool was also very good and a nice way to end the day. A nice extra given what we paid.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back.

The hotel was really perfect for my needs (the best by far after three trips to Singapore). Nice sized room, great location with convenient foot access (for those who like to walk) to locations of interest as well as a contiguous train station. The staff did an admirable job of cleaning the room and bathroom and the staff was without exception exceedingly helpful and friendly. Yes, there is construction going on, but honestly I did not notice it at all. Highly recommended.

Good location, close to building site, but the noise is not unbearable, it stops when we are sleeping, as travellers we are not in the hotel much, rooms & bathrooms are clean & cleaned every day, the staff I have met have been unfailingly courteous & helpful, not far from Raffles city under ground shopping & food places, bugis market. To conclude we are much enjoying our stay. The rooms are oldies but goodies.

Room Tip: We asked for separate beds

Not the greatest experience. Arrived by taxi to what can only be described as the entrance to a building site. The noisiest arrival on record. Asked for a room away from the noise and was assured it was away from the noise. Unfortunately, not the case. Asked the porter what time the noise stopped for the night - 9-30pm. Turned out to be 10-45pm. Started again at 8am. Asked for a change of rooms - impossible, hotel full but could change for the next night, so change we did.
Not only a noisy room but very tired, stained carpet, cracked sink and ants in the bed to boot. Completely unacceptable, really.
Asked to see the manager but unavailable. Asked again in the morning , would be available after 3pm.
On getting the keys to the new room across the corridor asked to see him again. Yes, you've guessed it already - not available.
Nevertheless, new room much better in terms of noise and cleanliness. Indeed ,if we were allocated this one initially there would have been no complaint.
The best was yet to come. Check out, when I refused to pay the full rate for the first night. The more senior of the desk staff refused to compromise on price saying that I had not complained earlier in my stay, which was completely untrue. I asked to see the manager or her line manager and yes, you've guessed the answer again - there was no-one in the building who could assist!! I'm sorry to say the exchange became a little heated. I sought the assistance of the only person in a suit I could find, the restaurant manager, who I must say could not have been more polite and helpful. He actually listened and spoke with the desk staff, assuring me that he'd return with a response even though it was outside his area of responsibility.
Hey presto, a 50% reduction for the first night which I thought was fair enough.
Breakfast experience was ok on both mornings. The hotel has the bonus of being centrally located and near to the tourist bus stop. Taxi rates the best of the whole holiday.

PS Almost the whole of the city centre is being rebuilt and the noise problem could not be confined to this hotel only. Will it ever end??!!

Room Tip: Don't accept the room until you are sure you are on the quieter side of the corridor.
