We stayed for four nights before our cruise and were very pleasantly surprised. The location is great...easy walking to shopping centres, Marina Bay, good restaurants. Service was very attentive. The pool area is clean and amenities are provided...sunscreen, magazines...so you never feel you must buy things you forgot. Room with balcony was large and well appointed. Comfortable bed for a good sleep and bathroom well equipped bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet for choice and value. Recommend.More

Perfect Hotel for a business trip
Excellent hotel experience especially having the possibility to work from the business centre and the club on the top floor. The almost completed refurbishment has given even a better look.
Amazing fitness center close to the swimming pool. Did not dine at the rest but some friend did and they were very satisfied. Perfect location for business as you can practically walk to most of the City towers.
Definitely perfect for business.

Nice and newly refurbished!
The bathroom layout wasn't the best as the shower was a bit too small. Otherwise, a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast buffet was massive and amazing and had a large selection of foods available. I haven't come across a buffet like this before.

Weekend Stay at Pan Pacific ! Superb
Me , together with wife and the two kids had this idea of trying out Hotels for an overnight stay whenever we feel burned-out from work. Had booked at Pan Pacific once i read that they have just renovated and they have this upgrade promo.

The lobby is absolutely stunning, I called them "Nests" (see pictures). Checking -in was a breeze coz someone can come over to your Nest with an IPad instead of you queuing up on the counter.

We spent minute taking pictures at the lobby as it is just remarkably stunning. You can also have an interesting view when you take the lifts/elevators as you can see the interiors as you go up.

The room we had was quite spacious, I liked the bathroom where it is separated by just a transparent glass, but of course you can put down the curtain with a press of a switch.
The bathroom was newly renovated as the fittings are new and the crevices appears newly cemented/painted. The bathroom has speakers inside so you can soak all the way you want on the bath tub while watching the TV from the transparent glass.

The pool was also great and the water is fresh, and is not heavily-chlorinated or stagnated.
The pool attendant gives you fresh towels and a bottle of water.

All the service crew, even the one cleaning the room smiles at the guest. My only qualm is when we went outside the lobby and asked for direction how to go to Marina Square, an uncle happily told us to walk that way, take the stairs and then walk over the platform under the heat of the sun.. Fortunately, there was a younger crew who overheard and probably realized that we had a 4-year old and a 7-month old baby. He instructed of another way which was just go to the back of the hotel and a quick escalator takes us up directly to Marina Square for lunch, shopping and a little playground for kids. It also near Suntec and other small shops.

The view from our window is interesting, as the Marina Bay Sands skypark, Ritz-Carlton Hotel and the Mandarin Oriental are all visible. My wife took a picture of me with the window at my back and it is as if there is a wallpaper at my back with these three buildings.

We could probably had gotten better rooms with a much nicer view of the harbour, but i forgot to ask the reception.

Superb experience- very conveniently located
I was at the Pan Pacific for 3 nights - a great good experience. lovely rooms, the the lobby is totally unique and has these lovely enclosed booth-like spaces which secludes a party of about 4 or 5 people - so that you dont feel you're sitting in the midst of a vast hotel lobby. very conveniently located right near the shopping malls and close to the marina bay area if you feel like taking a walk.

Pan Pacific versus Ritz Carlton
Could not decide where to stay on this visit to Singapore with my sister and ended up choosing Pan Pacific in a club room. Found previous reviews not very detailed as to the club room so here are the details. Rooms are on high floors and the only way to get to them is in a glass lift which runs up the outside of the building. If you do not like heights this is not for you although the views are stunning. The room itself on 33rd floor is much smaller than I expected - the club rooms at the Ritz Carlton are definately much more spacious. The room itself was quite nice but did not have any wow factor as I was expecting after the big refurbishment more functional and possibly aimed at the business traveller. The furnishings are pleasant enough. We do not have a balcony so not sure if that is a different room category. All the info about the room and services is on the tv which I do not particulary like as I think there is no substitute for a book with all the info at you fingertips. Also in my experience all the hotels I have stayed at in Singapore are not particularly good at telling you what is included in your club room eg still need to ask is it 2 pieces of laundry per day foc or just 2 pieces of pressing? Free wifi in room which is as it should be! Bathroom nice and as it is a twin room we do not have the glass wall so private enough. Bathroom at the Ritz was far superior as it has bath in front of window and you can see the amazing view while in the tub. In fact the rooms at the Ritz are just fabulous and you cant help being wowed even on a second visit. The club itself is lovely with amazing 360 views which are particularly spectacular at night. The club is open 24 hours a day which is nice if you have jet lag! The service is excellent and could not fault it at either hotel. The food and beverages served complimentary in the club are as follows...... Champagne breakfast or alternatively you can go to restaurant downstairs for more choice at breakfast. The all day refreshments are soft drinks, tea and coffee and biscuits served 24 hours. Then there is afternoon tea served from 2.30 pm til 5.30pm then cocktails and canapies which is basically any alcoholic drinks including champagne served from 6pm til 8pm. The afternoon tea today consisted of scones with jam and cream, sausage rolls, and an open sandwich type snack. They also had a cheese board with crackers and smoked salmon. Along side that there was a sweet offering of a little chocolate cake or mini raspberry tart. The selection was adequate but not terribly inspiring however I will say that there are very few guests in the club room as it is the weekend so it may be that there is more choice on week days and it all tasted very nice. The canapies at 6pm consisted of cheese board, crackers, smoked salmon, samosas, and 2 other dainty little canapé things that were very tasty. There was also 4 sweet canapés which again were all very tasty. By comparison the Ritz serves food and drinks all day long from 7.30am right through to 11pm so knock yourself out on champagne all day! Their food is outstanding to the point for example the afternoon tea is on par with what would be served in the lobby to guests paying for it. The only problem with the Ritz is you find yourself rushing back for the food! My main reason for choosing the Pan Pacific in stead of the Ritz was cost. Seven nights in Pan Pacific is costing £1900 where as the Ritz was £2200 so £300 more and these were the best deals I could get. I also looked at Conrad Centenniel which quoted £1500 but they took over a week to get back to me so I had already booked. I suppose to sum up it is not that the Pan Pacific is not great it is just I think it is overpriced for what it offers or perhaps it is just not offering deals on rates that the other hotels do. Or maybe I was just getting a very good deal on the price at the Ritz!!!
