We often use this hotel for overnight trips to indulge in a bit of luxury and the Ritz-Carlton brand never disappoints. The refurbishment has in my opinion been a great success and there is no question this is a great hotel to relax in.

Pool, spa, restaurant, rooms - all are excellent and we just loved the view and the atmosphere and the fact that one is so close to shopping malls, dining and entertainment when staying at The Ritz-Carlton. Definitively a treat in Singapore...

Have stayed here three times and the hotel has never disappointed us. Stayed in the deluxe room twice; it was really comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The staff at the check in counter was really friendly, helpful, and apparently good at multitasking: as she was working on the check-in process, she still managed to keep up a conversation with me to keep me from waiting in boredom.

The third time we stayed in the premier suite and it was really delightful. They put in a welcome card and a basket of fruits upon arrival, and every day there would be complimentary chocolates placed at the bedside table. The chocolates were minuscule but still, the gesture was really nice. I especially liked the bathrooms, with the signature octagonal windows. It was really something to soak in the bathtub in the evening with the Marina Bay view out the window.

The only slightly negative point in our three stays there was the queue at breakfast. We had to wait for quite a while before they could get us a table. But nevertheless the food at Greenhouse was good, for both the breakfast and lunch buffets.

Room Tip: Ask for Marina Bay view! It'll cost a bit more but totally worth it.

Ritz Carlton Singapore is the best hotel Ive ever stayed. As the only 6 starred hotel in Singapore we were expexting quite high standards but we were still blown away by everything the hotel had to offer. Super friendly and serviceminded staff, fantastic lobby, nice training and pool facilities (would have been better with rooftop pool but only thing we could put a finger on) :)
When we just gotten married my wife and i stayed there for a 24 hours romantic getaway which we did not regret! Each time we even mentioned we just gotten married they were all pver us with complimentary champagne and the hotel also had a bottle of Moet and some chocolate covered strawberries sent t our room free of charge. What can be expected when just gotten married, but this was indeed something else. Also a personal card with drawings and congratulations from the management and a very decorative cake in our room when we arrived. This hotel is highly recommended for a romantic weekend get away where you wanna lock the door and theow the key away :) we booked 24/7 at the club level which was great since you have 24 hours from checkin to checkout and you can check in all time during the day and en leave 24 hours later. The club level rooms are on 31st floor and absolutely fantastic! Ask for the marina bay view. With the club level there are complimentary meals 5 times a day on 32nd floor where a chef is cooking fantastic food. All in all this hotel have our highest recommendation!!!

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore for two days on our way back home to Dubai. This was truly a luxury experience, and the service was excellent.
Rooms are large and overlooking the Sands and Marina Bay. You can also see the Gardens from across. Its conveniently situated close to the Helix bridge, if you'd like to walk to the Sands, the mall there and the Arts & Science Hotel.
The service was excellent and check in / check out was very fast.

I would recommend this hotel for families or couples staying over in Singapore who want to be a little further away from all the action at the Marina Bay.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms with the view on Marina Bay.

This was our second stay in the last six months and it confirmed our impression that the Ritz-Carlton is no longer the 6 star hotel it once promoted itself as 10 years ago. The rooms have been refurbished but the hotel is now catering to a more mass market customer, many of whom appear to be staying there as a cheaper alternative to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The tone is set by the bus loads of tourists who roll up the driveway in huge tour buses.

The hotel coffeeshop is hopelessly inadequate for the hordes that descend at breakfast time, and the queues for a table are long. This is notwithstanding the many additional tables set out in the corridors adjoining the coffeeshop, and this is often due to poor table management by waitstaff who are undertrained and ill-equipped to handle the rush.

Nonetheless, the front of house staff were helpful and friendly, caring for their guests. The pool is a lovely area, but there are sometimes not enough sun loungers for all guests who come to the pool. The pool boys are hardworking and make sure that empty sun loungers are cleared up, ready for reuse.

The gym is very well equipped, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

I would stay for the view and location, but would not stay again for the crowded lifts, queues for breakfast and the general busy-ness of the public spaces. This hotel was built for a more exclusive market segment, and is not able to cope with larger numbers of guests. Much like Singapore, I suppose....
