“One of the best hotels in Singapore”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

I've stayed in Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore for 4 or 5 times and all of my stay were very enjoyable.

I especially like the spacious room, nice comfy mattress and spacious bathroom. If you like to enjoy the view while soaking in the tub, this is definitely a hotel for you.

Breakfast is quite good with nice choices of local and international food, although I was there during a big conference. So getting empty seat was a bit of a challenge.

The staff is very helpful.

Overall, one of my favorite hotel in Singapore.

PS: I never tried the spa.

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Only wish it was for longer! We had originally booked at the Pan Pacific but they closed it due to refurbishment. Lucky for us as we paid the same rate. We had a room overlooking the quay and what a view! The room was the nicest I have ever stayed in! floor to ceiling window with remote control blinds from the bed! massive room really luxurious. The bathroom was huge! A massive bath in the window overlooking the harbour!!!! Again blinds so don't worry! The breakfast was delicious with every culture catered for! We didn't have time to use the pool but it look lovely. The staff are really friendly and you feel really spoilt staying here.FANTASTIC!!!!!

Room Tip: the marina rooms facing the harbour. amazing view and go for high floors.

Have stayed here multiple times and just can't stop craving for more.
Even though this is a busines hotel, I always end feeling like I am on vacation - the pool is fanstastic with a mediterranean feel in the set up. Rooms are expansive and have amazing views of the quay and the city on the other side.
Bathroom in the room is extra-ordinary and the bath tub has to be the best that I have experienced anywhere - best is you can view the entire surrounding city while in your bathtub.
Will keep coming for more.

Room Tip: Take the quay view

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for 4 nights. We reached the hotel by 7. 30am due to an early flight. We had a quick check in except for the fact that they insisted that we pay a refundable deposit of 600 USD in spite of having prepaid for our stay in full. They escorted us to the fitness center to use the facilities while our room was being readied. Within half an hour we were given a room. Huge room and bath. Lovely views from both. Break fast was good and so was the service. Concierge and doorkeepers were very helpful and it was service with a smile. Door keeper ensured that the Taxi drivers knew where exactly we wanted to go.Good location and Promenade Mrt just a couple of minutes away. Absolutely no complaints except for the fact they made deposit 600 USD in spite of having prepaid. Had not encountered this in any other country.

We stayed at the Ritz in the first week of July, 2012 in a deluxe room facing the Marina Bay. We had an excellent view from our hotel room of the Marina bay area including the Marina Sands. The hotel is located in the centre of the town and is a 5 minute taxi ride from Orchard street and other shopping areas, Service was impeccable.

As expected, this was a very good experience.

Spent 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton. We have stayed in hotels of this level and the room was large compared to other properties we have been in. Definitely book a room facing Marina Bay as the views are great especially at night. Bathroom was good size too and love the tub with the window overlooking Marina Bay. Bed was comfortable and basically no complaints about the room. Breakfast was busy though food was good. Thought the fruit selection could have been better being in the tropics. Staff was attentive and remembered us.

I stayed there with my girl friends for a birthday/ pre wedding weekend stay over.

We checked in at 2pm but was informed that our rooms would not be ready as it was their busy day (Friday afternoon). We have booked for our massage and facial at their spa, we told the lady that if the rooms could be ready by 430pm, we would be fine. What was shocking was that she said she could not promise that! And she would not know what time the room would be ready It was only when another staff stepped in and assured that the rooms would be ready by 430pm that this was resolved.

The spa was more like a fitness Center, the deco was dated and you had to walk through the gym to reach the changing area. There was also no resting area like most spa, and you had to have your tea at the changing area too. However, they were very skilful. Time for Ritz to do a major overhaul to their spa.

We finally checked in to our connecting rooms at 5pm. The views were stunning as you can see the floating platform from the room. Great view for fireworks! You can also see the new Gardens by the bay from the room.

Bathroom is huge and comes with its signature bathtub that faced the bay. Rooms come with nespresso coffee machine, iPod docking and smart tv. Bed was comfortable with the right pillows.

Location wise, it was near the marina bay sands, probably a 10 mins walk.

Only if service could be better.
