The staff are all so nice and friendly and always give you a greeting and a smile.
I would like to mention a special lady Lucia the manager on the executive floor, it is always a pleasure to see her and her wonderful staff.
The location of the hotel is very central and great eateries near by.

The Novotel Clarke Quay seems to be a $12.00 cab ride from anywhere - except the airport at 2:00AM. That was $30 including the after midnight sur-charge. We got a room with 2 single beds because there were no rooms with King beds on the quiet side of the building. A "Single" bed is a US double. The linens were creamy and very inviting. Bed was super comfortable. I am an AccorPlus member, so got a great discount on the room and all meals purchased in the restaurant. Ex: a sumptuous breakfast buffet is usually 30 Singapore dollars each, but with the Accor Member card is was $30 for 2 people.
The room comes with a "Handy" phone - a free smart cell phone (Android) to use for local and international calls, etc. This was a life saver. Only country I could find that was not on the approved list was Switzerland. That phone saved me hundreds of dollars over several days!
You have to ask for wash cloths and decaf coffee - not standard. The lights in the room, especially the bathroom, are very dim. Hard to put make up on.
The hotel is in the same building with a shopping mall that seems to focus on kids - though there were many restaurants, Starbucks, and even a supermarket in the basement. Great place to stock up on snacks instead of raiding the mini-bar.
The staff is amazing, especially the concierge. In fact, all the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and able to find anything we wanted. Great advice too about cabs, bargaining, travel times, etc.
I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the river are quieter than those on the "night life" side of the building.

I have stayed in more than 6 hotels and this is my all round favourite
From the options of restaurants, the pool and the location at Clarke Key ( great views to Marina Bay) made it always easy to do stuff. The staff however are the key here, very helpful and you feel very welcome, keep up the good work

Room 2202 - we couldn't quite 'swing a cat' but slept fairly well after long flight 15 May 2016. (Not Oct as per travel range box below)
Alas, the bathroom facility designer had set the toilet in such a way, that it was either knees up, or sit sideways. Thankfully, we enjoyed t/c facilities in the room, and a good buffet before going exploring.
Apologies management for delay in giving this report. I had a book to write.
We always enjoy Singapore, whether pouring rain or clear skies.

I am glad that you enjoyed the facilities in your room, and the buffet breakfast at The Square restaurant. I do note your disappointment with the lay-out of your bathroom during your visit. Given the structure of the hotel, we do have a very limited number of rooms like the one mentioned however please rest assured that your feedback has been taken into consideration as we continue to make plans for our upcoming renovation.

Nice & clean hotel in a beautiful location. The breakfast was good with lot of varieties. Had a river view room. Staffs are friendly & helpful. The view from the swimming pool was also great. Got a early check in & later check out.
