The location (as everyone says) is what makes this Novotel stand out. Fabulous. Out the door and you're right on Clarke Quay. Family of four can comfortably stay (even with two extra beds) in the executive rooms. The bathroom was big too, with extra large shower and shower over bath. Great for everyone getting ready in the morning. Pool was nice & big and shared with the Somerset hotel next door. Breakfasts were 'good'. Shame there was no fresh milk in the room's mini (very small mini fridge) - just creamer - that's very old fashioned & just not nice in tea! However called room service & they brought fresh milk up in a small jug quite quickly.
Restuarants are reasonable, however if you want to eat outside, there's Starbucks for coffee & breakfast by the entrance lobby. There's a shopping mall that's below the hotel. Here you'll find Mc Donalds if that's your thing, an up market burger place & decent pizza where you can bring a takeaway back to the hotel if you have young children. Clarke Quay for adults is brimming with fab restuarants and bars. There's also a wonderful Japanese supermarket in the basement of the shopping mall that's below the hotel. Authentic, so make sure you grab some goodies to take home!
There's a small entertainment area for the children with an xbox - Nobody seemed to be monitoring the use though, so some children hogged it, whilst their parents just let them get on with it.
Still don't know why wifi is chargeable, you can use the lobby where there are five computers that provide free access.
Definitely come back next time we visit Singapore.

Room Tip: Twin exec are nice & big for a family of four.

Excellent position of the hotel means it is central to travel the city. It is part of a shopping complex and the resturant nightlife and river is just outside the property. Rooms are clean and modern with good views. Dont use indian resturant on level 6 the food was terrible all courses were awful for both of us complained and all they wanted to do was re do meals. Ours was not the only table who had burnt food.

it has been very nice to stay at this Hotel, because you can walk just over the street to Clar Quay where you'll find plenty of Restaurants, attractions, Bars and so on.
The service in the Hotel is very good and all requests are handled professionally.

This is a nice hotel. The location is OK at Clarke Quay but it is not brilliant. There are a lot of expensive restaurants in this area.
The rooms are comfortable but what is ridiculous is the very poor coffee making facilities...$5.00 kettle, no milk just the cheap packets of coffee & tea. There is also a very small refrigerator which doesn't get very cold.
I dont understand why an up market hotel spoils the experience with these cheap facilities. Singapore is a hot climate so you would expect a decent fridge for drinks.
TV worked well and bed comfy. Overall a good hotel.

The service received to me was very poor. After purchasing a room on Premier floor, the room service department forgot to keep Tea bags in the room which is complimentary & after requesting for tea bags they came to me after 2 hours. Basic things like these should be taken care by ANY hotel.
WOULD NOT TRY THIS HOTEL AGAIN.
