I spent 1 week in this hotel for a business trip during the Independence Day celebration (August 9th) and was pleasantly surprised by the service, cleanness, food, and outstanding decor. From the beautiful lobby to the well laid out rooms which included balconies, I was glad I stayed at this hotel. The room was large; bed was comfortable and clean; TV was a new flatscreen the bathroom was exceptional with marble and all high end fixtures. My favorite part of the hotel was the upstairs lobby with the magnificent view to the top of the hotel. When you are on the 19th floor looking down it was incredible. The outside pool area was quite nice with towels, lounge chairs, shade and a beautiful view of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The breakfast buffet was international and had choices for everyone. The service at the front desk was professional and very accommodating. The location is great since it is close to the subway station, attached to the shopping mall and walkable to the marina area. My favorite part of the hotel was daily at 7:30am when they brought the songbirds out to the lobby and their singing would echo all the way to the top. It was surreal. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

Room tip: ask for a room that has a view of the Marina Bay Sands hotel.

this is in a great location at the Marina. The insides of the hotel are stunning.the room was fab , mine with a balcony overlooking the marina itself.
Breakfast was great, as was the lobby bar drinks, although these were a little pricey. The hotel provides direct access to marina Sq mall, which is very handy. It is also located close to the Suntec centre , which runs alot of tours. The rooms cater for everything , including shavers and toothbrush sets.

This hotel comes highly recommended. It is a fab base for any stay in Singapore.

Nice hotel, with great reception. Hotel is well location to subway, highway or a nice walk around the bay. Service is OK. Breakfast is very very nice. At the swimming pool you smell the kitchen. I always go to this hotel when staying in Singapore.

We initially planned a backpacker place, but later on decided on a full-service hotel. Convenience and distance to planned destinations was a big consideration. Marina Mandarin looks aged, but with grace. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our request for early check-in was granted and we were given a free room upgrade! We loved the selection at the breakfast buffet. The food was very tasty and the staff attentive. Our room was comfortable, even with the extra bed thrown in. We're strongly considering staying here again when we return next year...

Kudos to the staff of Marina Mandarin!

Booked this hotel for 1 night, paid more than 600 sgd , a premium for viewing Singapore's national day fire works.
I won't recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a good view of next year's fireworks from the tiny narrow balcony.
The service at check-in is slow, with such a large reception, only 4 girls at work. Yes, it is the peak hour for all checking in guests for that exciting night, all the more, a hotel of 5 star rating should have boosted their workforce at the reception. Ditto for checking out, a long long line....
I find the room in need of revamp, old carpet, not very well lit bathrooms.
Only upside is the huge shopping mall under it with lots of eateries, not good for hotel restaurants though. Must also give credit to the front desk for trying to find me a bigger room, even if they did not succeed ( I found the room too small for an extra bed, impression from photo and description was bigger).
I will be looking for another hotel next year 9th August.
