Booked this hotel for 1 night, paid more than 600 sgd , a premium for viewing Singapore's national day fire works.
I won't recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a good view of next year's fireworks from the tiny narrow balcony.
The service at check-in is slow, with such a large reception, only 4 girls at work. Yes, it is the peak hour for all checking in guests for that exciting night, all the more, a hotel of 5 star rating should have boosted their workforce at the reception. Ditto for checking out, a long long line....
I find the room in need of revamp, old carpet, not very well lit bathrooms.
Only upside is the huge shopping mall under it with lots of eateries, not good for hotel restaurants though. Must also give credit to the front desk for trying to find me a bigger room, even if they did not succeed ( I found the room too small for an extra bed, impression from photo and description was bigger).
I will be looking for another hotel next year 9th August.

We went there for 2 nights stay during the Comex exhibition. Nice location which is near to suntec and marina square mall. room is nice and clean, but the room with the connected door with other room is not recommended. The wall is very thin so u can hear clearly other people talking from other side. Try to booked few month ahead to get discount rate.

Room tip: Avoid the connecting rooms if you want peace and quitness sleep.

Go for the Club room, you'll get an incredible view of Singapore, looking over the opera house and beautiful sky line along the coast (especially at night with all the lights on). There is nothing negative I can say about this hotel. The reception and lounge area is stunning and very impressive when you arrive to check-in. Rooms are nice, very up to date, clean and they offer a great service. Breakfast is great, when you've got a Club room, the breakfast is separate from the other guests (in a different room/floor) so can't say how the regular breakfast is. Staff is very helpful and nice. Thumbs up!

They rate the hotel as a 5 star, but it is more like 4 stars, which is reflected in the price. If you want 5 star quality, stay at the Ritz but for a couple hundred USD per night. The pool is very nice. The location is excellent if you like shopping. Personally, I prefer the Clarke and Roberson Quay areas for the activity along the river.

Room tip: Clean and fairly modern.

This hotel is overwhelmingly huge with a vast atrium full of caged songbirds (not sure what I think of that). But for a stopover it was great. Located on top of a big shopping mall , good big pool, well equipped rooms that are clean and comfortable, and the day spa was excellent - I recommend the massage and facial as a good travel stress buster. Good breakfast too. For a longer stay I would probably look for something a little smaller but the service was excellent and overall a good experience.
