Been here for couple times for training and crew change. Impressed by its food served in perfect satisfactory and they were delicious ones especially its seafood. Don't drink too much but eat alot and eventually sleep tightly.

Stayed here on business in Singapore for a week in March 2013. To summarise: nice hotel for business and general holiday travel alike. The food in this place is good buffet. However I still prefer the street food and atmosphere since many years and spend many evenings walking to nearby ChinaTown for the vibe. It is close to walk to Clark Quay or bus stops or MRT. Otherwise cabs are always near. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Furama for two nights recently. The reception staff on arrival were professional but very cold and dismissive. We were told that we had been 'upgraded' - but their was nothing about the room, bed, bathroom that made us feel special. The air-conditioning in the room was poor and we were unable to adjust temperature - despite the help that was sent on request. Wi Fi connection that had been free to us all through Vietnam was available at the Furama for $15 per hour??!! Travelling is all about the experience - and we found this one cold and uninspiring

I arrived in Singapore late at around 2:30 AM and the 2 night receptionists (one in training- Ms Chung I believe and the other one supervising her, not wearing a name badge) were not friendly at all, did not give me appropiate information about Internet connection, food vouchers and the checking in was very long (they were saying that the system was very slow)
Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner were served buffet style and the food was good.
Room was OK, bathroom clean. When I checked out I was shocked about the unfriendliness of the person behind the desk, she was very sarcastic and seemed that she was doing me a favor by talking to me

Clean, exciting, friendly, punctual, expensive, great location.... words that come to mind when I think of Singapore and the Furama river front hotel. My arriving flight was late but had no problems checking in and aranging tasty room service, change money and get general information. everyone spoke english and they were very willing to assits with tours, taxis and left luggage for a late departing flight. The hop on bus stops 50m away and this is definitely worth doing. I would reccommned this hotel

We had a good deal for the club room through booking.com and decided to stay here during CNY for 1 night.

Location wise is not really convenient so we took taxi to and fro. I have no idea where the nearest MRT, which is Outram MRT, is located at. I read other reviews it was about 10-15 mins walk but couldnt bother to explore.

The club room was big and spacious. Cleanliness is tiptop. There is a bathtub and toiletries are from crabtree & evelyn. Can choose pillows. Breakfast was good. Cocktail in the club lounge starts from 6-8pm, served with snacks and light food. Requested for a late check out and the hotel allows us to check out at 4pm. Service was really good cos the hotel staffs are all friendly and helpful.

However, what is in the picture is not what I get in the room. I think the picture shows a newer/renovated room. I was expecting a glass door bathroom. See the pic I've posted.

Overall, I have no qualms with Furama Riverfront and wouldnt mind staycation-ing here again. :D

my husband and i recently stayed here we were booked into a superior room what we got was a shabby room with 2 single beds paint falling off the walls as was the light it was not even set up for two people
i complained but was fobbed off but went back and had a terse conversation with the receptionist who assured me it was one of there top rooms
i persisted and was later given the room we should have had
after that we were treated with utmost courtesy luckily i can speak up for myself but someone who doesnt like fuss would accept it
not staying here again

Room Tip: our room was on the 9th floor and was quiet
