Brought my three beautiful Daughters to west coast park last Sunday when mummy was overseas. They love to have breakfast or lunch located within the park itself.

The park was always filled with children during the weekends. One could actually walked over to the beach and breathed in the soothing scenery right in front of your eyes.

Good place to do some exercise like jogging or brisk walking as well.

Is potentially a great park... it has many types of playground equipment (including some for children in wheelchairs), a large grassy field (popular for flying kites and kicking a soccer ball around) and many walkways for legs and wheels to use.

However, I still cannot find any water fountains, except near the toilets used by the campers (yes, you can camp there, if you get a permit from an AXS machine). This is off to the left as you face the park from West Coast Highway (and quite a distance for the most popular attraction - the Ziplines)).

I suspect McDonalds has done a deal with NParks that there are to be no water fountains, so families will go to Maccas when they are thirsty.
Why else would you have a large, family -friendly park where you work up a sweat playing in the great outdoors, without any water fountains?

There’s a number of kids facilities in this park which my kids love them. They have big playgrounds and just located near to the beach. There’s only a macdonalds in the park.

A nice large park (around 4km end to end) to walk, cycle and chill out. Plenty of shaded trails, water features and you can rent a bicycle too.

It’s my first time there after their revamp. The park has many playgrounds for different ages! There’s a kids playground, sand playground, zip playground, big obstacles course too! Place for camping, soccer training, kite flying or just scooting around! There are afew pavillions there, some seating, a toilet too.

We like to go to the breakwater to view the sunset and enjoy the breeze! It was a nice evening! Ended with icecream from the macdonalds where we parked our car. Noted that parking is chargeable now that gantries are up.
