If you are interested in Chinese culture and history of Singapore a visit to Bukit Brown cemetary will be worth your while. In particular since it will (partially) disappear soon due to the land being redeveloped into roads and housing. Basically this is a (yet) undisturbed green enclave within Singapore, where nature rules, so no well maintained paths etc. In this "jungle" one can find/view many beautifully adorned Chinese graves from various point in time.
Wear sturdy shoes/boots, bring insect repellant, wear long trousers so that you can walk into the bush/jungle and view the beautiful graves from up close.
