Causeway point shopping mall is located in the heart of woodlands town. Infront of causeway point is the bus terminal where you can catch buses to go all over Singapore and to Johor as well. Woodlands town is also located very near to the causeway which links Johor and Singapore. You can also visit Johor using the bus number 950 at woodlands bus interchange or bus 911 or 856 to the woodlands train station. The place in woodlands is also accessible using bus and MRT. There is also woodlands civic at the back of causeway point. At the centre, there is a library and a few clinics, banks and restaurants.

Woodlands is a residential town located in the northern region of Singapore. It is connected to Johore Bahru by the causeway. Shops, restaurants and commercial area are evenly spread out in the town with bus and transit routes operating till close to midnight.

Having worked and played in this area for so many years, much memories. Of course not to bore all of you out, some places to go:

1) Causeway Point -- Level 5 is foodhaven for all. Level 7 has a comfy cinema which is usually not too packed with movie-goers. The rest is all shopping and food combined. There's a Teo Heng too!

2) Woodlands Civic Centre -- one of the best libraries (in my humble opinion) is here. Good place to do work, to find the books you want because it's 4 stories high! However as much as there's alot of space, there's also ALOT of people. If you want to study during peak periods, please come before 10am to queue to get a seat with ur friends. This Woodlands Civic Centre has a NTUC too, and many other interesting services.

3) Woodlands Waterfront -- interesting Nparks waterfront. Nice place to jog/stroll/cycle and play. Can see JB just across. Great single halal restaurant over there called Rasa Istimera? HAHA forgot the name but the food is good. Go for their cereal prawns and their cooling coconuts. Especially nice at night.

4) Woodlands Woodgrove Ave holds Halloween along the street every year. Do pop down for a simple trick or treat!

5) Many good foods around the area. Just google best food in Woodlands Singapore and it will come tumbling along!

There's a lot more but do pop by this WOODY-LAND for a suburbia experience.

I just wanted to share if you're travelling to Singapore via Malaysia by road, I suggest that rather than take a cab, its better to take Train from JB Sentral, Johor to Woodland, Singapore. Its so different experience.
