Wifi password : guest007. Happy hour before 8pm (25% off housepours). Prefer the non asian flavoured mussels.

“Excellent place for your Belgian food/beer craving”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2012

We really enjoyed Brussels Sprouts. The service was excellent. The food tasty. I like the variety of food they serve. Especially the 20+ different ways to prepare mussels with fries in free-flow :-))))
The mayonnaise was good. Which is very important if like me you are from Belgium.
The location, the open space and the lack of air-conditioning are a real blessing. For once you do not sit in a room that is freezing... I would strongly recommend it.
The prices are ok. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

“Good location, great collection of beers - but a disappointing service.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

The place is located right near the waterfront. Nice decor and a good collection on beers on the menu. I was surprised not to find Duvel and Kwak, but thats another thing.

We started off with Leffe Blond on the tap. The beers were flat and NOT fresh. For a belgian beer joint, running stale Leffe was apalling. I thought it might be an exception and proceeded to order a Chimay Grand reserve in a bottle. We were served in 11.2oz(331ml) chimay chalices and the waiter left the remaining bottle of beer in a bucket of ice.

We stepped out to pee, and when we came back, the bottle had disappeared. The extra beer wasn't poured into any of our glasses, but the head waitress came in and insisted that they poured.

They were condescending, when we told them that they should've atleast waited for us to come back before pouring or atleast told us before taking the bottle away. if I'm paying S$40 for a bottle of Chimay Grand Reserve, I expect some professionalism and courtesy.

Will not go back.

“Belgian beer on the East Coast”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

A great place to go with the kids or a group. The food is good plenty of choice but for me the main attraction is the mussels. You can have a starter or main course portion size with free flow chips. The kids meals are good value a favourite in our family is the meatballs. We have been here quite a few time since opening and initially the service was a bit hit and miss. The last couple of times we have been its been good. The staff are friendly the atmosphere is very relaxed especially after a Leffe! It is normal is Singapore for meals to come at different times no amount of complaining will change it so just sit back enjoy the breeze and the beer!

“Great location, food's allright, disappointing service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2012

Fries are definitely NOT Belgian style. And for free flow of fries it would have been good if the waiters would actually come by and check on it.
Otherwise food is good but quite pricy.
This is the second time I'm here and I'm just as disappointed. Will be the last time...
