Me and my husband were impressed by Oasia. We booked a Superior room and were upgraded to a Deluxe category. Rooms were spacious and we had a open ended view of the city. We had breakfast in the Zaffron at Level one and though it was extremely busy, the people there tried to be attentive to your needs. The train is located just at the basement and it was convenient for us to go to other parts of the city without any hassle. We wanted to view the Club as we read that it was worth a nominal fee. The receptionist kindly brought us up but there seemed to be a Property event going on at the pool side where there were selling some houses. It seemed to lose its exclusivity as there was a nice pool to enjoy. Perhaps for the batter that we did not upgrade during our stay. Overall delighted with our stay.

We stayed here for 5 nights during the New Year Holiday. Wonderful hotel at a good price. This hotel is not located at any of the primary tourist sites but has great access to all of them as it is located right on top of the Novena MRT station, 2 stops from Orchard Road (MRT accessed through the basement via elevator). It is also right across from Velocity shopping mall which has a grocery on the basement level and many restaurants which was very handy (access to the mall also via the basement - just walk through the MRT station).
We had 2 interconnected club level rooms - one king and one with two twins. Rooms were small but very comfy, efficiently laid out and clean. The Club level provides nice benefits with a club member only pool on the 22nd floor (fantastic views) including a hot tub. Club level also includes complimentary in room mini bar drinks which are restocked daily or you can get free drinks at all hours in the lounge. Given the prices this was all very reasonable.
My only complaint would be that the Club Pool is shaded all the time which leaves it very cold. We actually used the hot tub instead which seems a bit odd for steaming, hot Singapore but it was actually very nice.
One tip...for families of 4, taxis were a better value in time, hassle and money than the MRT. Everywhere we went (Botanical Gardens, Orchard Road, Duck Tours, Universal Studios) was $6-10 Singapore dollars which was basically $2 more than the price of 4 in the subway and far faster. Taxi drivers all did not know the Oasia but were able to easily locate it with the hotel card provided with the room key.

Room Tip: Club level rooms are easily worth the extra cost.

Just stayed 3 nights at this property in a basic room, leaving on New Year's Eve.
The positive aspects are that it is a new hotel, rooms are clean and modern and the location is convenient to the MRT. Also I should say that the cost is reasonable for Singapore - perhaps this is why the hotel is so booked out? Though as others have noted, there clearly are not enough staff around to service the hotel when its so busy. After check in I waited over 15 mins for my luggage to be brought up - i eventually just went down to collect it myself, thankfully, as it was unattended by itself near the entrance.
There is no brochure in the room explaining facilities, it's all online when you turn on the TV - however, in my room (1217) the TV remote provided did not have the correct controls to allow one to surf the hotel information - just TV channels, so I had to request a new remote (which I noticed had a different room # on it). This oversight dumbfounds me!
I was considering a Club room, as its always nice to have a third space away from one's bedroom - however, there is no actual club lounge here - just an eating area with an outside deck and pools (too hot for me!). Sure the pool and views are nice, but as there were no computer nooks or lounge area I chose not to upgrade.
Similarly, the entrance lobby space is really too small - no concierge desk, just a small reservations desk that is perhaps insufficient for a hotel with 300 rooms - but again I guess this is a functional hotel, especially used to service relatives of patients in the many surrounding hospitals?

Stayed at Oasia to celebrate & countdown to the New Year. It was suppose to be a happy event but turn out it was a night full of nightmare for us! From the moment we check in till we check out.

Check in:
3 staff was on duty at the reception for both check in & out. The queue was long as we have to wait for 20mins before our turn. Noted the check in time was 2pm. We were told to come back at 2pm by the staff to collect our room key. We came back from our lunch after 2pm and was told the room was not ready. The reception told us the room will be ready soon within an hr hence we decided to got for a walk again at the near by mall. An hour has passed & we didn't receive any call although we had left our number so when the room are ready we can head back. We decided to check with the reception again. Another 20mins in the queue & it was our turn. The reception apologies that the room is not ready & offer us to access to level 8 well waiting for the room. It was raining heavily the pool was close; hence we decided to use the gym. Another hour has passed no call from the reception & we decided to head down again. As usual the horrible queue, The room was ready & a quick look at my watch. It was 4pm. 2 hrs behind the usual 2pm check in.

Room 1820:
This is where the nightmare happen, The moment we insert our card key, a horrible noise came our from our room & it continue every few mins. Call up the front desk regarding the noise issue. Was told the rooms are fully booked & she will send the repair team up to solve the problem. The team came up & it took more then an 1 hour to access the noise from the ceiling. Was told it was due to the air con issue & they are unable to solve it & left the room & was told they will come back an hour later to check again. The disappointment part is they left without solving. It was almost 6pm by now. The whole bathroom was fully of dirt from the repair & they didn't send the house keeping to do a quick clean up & the noise issue still carrying on. We are running late for our new year eve dinner after the long torture. Before we head out for dinner, I told the reception again the issue & was told again that it will be solve after an hour.

We came back after dinner, we check with the reception on the issue if it had been solve. Her reply was due to housing keeping on the above level therefore the cause of the noise. We are shock by the reply & start to question what’s going on but she was unable to reply. Got back to our room & the noise still continue! We are unable to change a new room & we have to bear with the noise the whole night! The noise continued to the next day & throughout the night! 12mn to 6am the noise still continue & do you think it is due to housekeeping on the room above us for more then 12hrs?

I must agree with the rest of the guest, the wall in this hotel is thin! Our room is sandwich in between 2 rooms that are still having party till 2am with more then 6 people in the room. I can hear people shouting! Laughing! Ringing from the in room telephone! Noise from the TV!

It was really a NIGHTMARE for us! Noise from the neighbor due to thin walls & noise from our room that had not been solve. We didn't get to sleep at all the whole night! & the hotel manager on duty didn't even respond to the issue personally.

I had launch a complain during check out, but till to date, The management did not get in touch on the issue or any complimentary due to our lost of sleep & service cause by the hotel.

I've stayed at oasia a couple of times and it was very pleasant. I loved the location and proximity to amenities - it's directly next to novena square so food and groceries are a short stroll away. More importantly, the service has never failed neither has the comfort of the room and its exclusivity.

The bed and the room is very comfortable. So thinking with the other pleasant stays in mind, i booked the room for a birthday surprise and a getaway from the hustle and bustle on New Year's Eve. Granted it was New Year's Eve and I understand that many people will have parties at the hotel, however at 4am our neighbors were still yelling and shrieking with like hyenas. We decided to call the front desk to get them to lower their volume. They said they would be sending a security guard up "again", so did that mean that other people had complained? Come 10 minutes, the noise was still going on strong. Another call to the front desk had the lady asking if it was not our next door neighbor but a few doors down instead. Out of curiosity I went out of the room and waited at the lobby, another 10 minutes, no security guard in sight on our level. The horrendous discovery was that the noise was coming from 4 or 5 doors down and there were people sitting OUTSIDE the room talking. How the rooms in between us tolerated it was beyond me. Is this a chalet?!

Went down to the front desk who told me that they were at full occupancy and that they would send a security guard up. In the end, the kind porter had to accompany us back to check out the situation but to no avail. Comforted by the initiative taken by the porter we tolerated the noise which continued until 9am the next morning. There were definitely more than 4people in that room for sure with more outside it.

after the noise calmed down, we realised that the walls were eerily thin when we heard our neighbours television loud and clear, down to the drawing of a sword. When we shared with rani at the club checkout desk about the sleepless night, the lady just did a quick drawl and said "our apologies", and a very minor fault - no one wished us happy new year as we checked out. To add, the porter (different one) outside tried to shove us the cab he called for the people before us who he let board an uncalled cab. We had not asked for a called cab at all because the cabs were streaming in slowly but steadily. If we were not local, we would have been cheated and paid for the booking which we had not made. The cab was later given to some tourists with the same line he used on us "I've called a cab for you"

Worst stay ever. Zero service recovery. Our only request upon check in was for a quiet room which the club check in agreed to provide. If it was impossible to provide, please tell your guests up front. And at the checkout, we were just looking for someone to listen to our woe about the night and perhaps provide some assurance but that they would look into the thin walls but there was none. even worse, they tried to cheat us?! If they were honest about the cab we would have taken it. It may seem like a minor fault with the cab but it does say a lot about the staff and the way they were trained.

Will never stay at this oasis of disappointment again, tourists please beware.

Had a staycation with my friends in the Club Room at Oasia Hotel to usher in the New Year. The Hotel is very easily accessible via MRT station and it's close proximity to Orchard and the three nearby shopping malls were a great incentive. Came too early for check-in (check-in's at 2) but the front desk people were happy enough to take care of our luggage while we roamed around the Novena area. After we checked in, we were brought up to the room which was abit small but felt extremely cosy and comfortable. It's large window area was super amazing as we get to view a large span of the Bukit Timah Area (we opted for the Bukit Timah view) which looked spectacular at night and in the early morning. There were amazing amenities provided like speakers, a coffee machine and a really big television which made it really easy for five of us to watch the television. We also enjoyed the clubroom benefits such as complimentary breakfast (sadly only just for two people), free drinks from 6pm-8pm and free mini bar! They had two pools one at Level 8 which housed the outdoor pool, gym and sauna and another at Level 22 which had an indoor pool and hot tub. Since it was raining heavily that day we decided to have a dip in the indoor pool. It was silly of us i admit, but the water was freezing cold. We initially thought it was because of the rain. But the hot tub served as a great refuge from the coldness. The next morning we decided to go for a swim again but to our dismay the water was still freezing cold although it was in the late morning. Didn't try out the outdoor pool though! One problem we had was the lack of towels that were available at the pool area. During the first swim, there was absolutely no towel hence we had to brave through a restaurant, the cold lobby lift and our cold room before we could call housekeeping to get the extra towels. The fact that we had to go through the restaurant first before we could reach the swimming pool which made it extremely awkward for us as we were in our bathing trunks and we were dripping wet while there were real customers who were doing business and eating in the restaurant. We highly recommend a heater to be installed in the indoor pool so that the water would at least be lukewarm and comfortable enough for us to have a dip! Had an amazing stay though, thanks for the great experience would definitely recommend the place to any of my foreign friends or anyone looking for a staycation!

I had a great stay for 2 nights in the hotel. Despite a superb location (MRT station is just at the basement of hotel and surrounded by shopping malls), I think the facilities and amenities of the hotel is excellent. I asked for a corner room during my booking and the hotel really reserved the room for me whereby I can have a nice pool and city view, though the room size is a bit smaller compared to other non-corner rooms. Nevertheless the room is spacious for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 small kids) and the most important the room is clean. I will definitely come back.

Room Tip: Higher floor (above 8th) can have a nicer view since the swimming pool is located at 8th floor.
