For choco lover, this is the best restaurant to eat all you can!! Located at the highest level of MBS, the buffet start from 8pm to midnight and reservation is required. I did a reservation on weekdays and they told me to come at 8.30pm. When i reached there, only a few tables are occupy. Nevertheless, i got alot of chocolate to choose from. From cakes to diff flavors of chocolate. However, there's no chocolate fondue to my disappointment.

It cost 38++ which include a hot choco or tea/coffee. Bearing in mind admission to the rooftop is included too! worth $20 per person. It is a nice place to chill out with friends or even with your loved ones to celebrate special events. Do remember to bring your camera along!!

I was so looking forward to visiting the MBS chocolate buffet, but left feeling very disappointed. Sure, there's a lot of choice, but our group weren't impressed by most of them. It's worth asking for the hot fondants (the staff won't offer you them) as they were one of the few highlights. I'd say it's not worth the money, and I've heard that the similar buffet at The Fullerton is superior. The up-side is you get to see the nice views from the top of MBS, but maybe just go for a drink at Ku De Ta instead with your money.

The chocolate bar was interesting - it really is a chocoholics dream seeing all these little desserts lined up just waiting to be eaten. Unfortunately when you get to the eating part, the excitement quickly vanishes, as you soon realise that the flavours are not really there, and definitely not good enough to justify eating so many calories in one sitting. I was hoping for a rich and decadent experience, but probably could have got richer at max brenner or some random french patisserie. It was also disappointing that they have chocolate ice cream (which , for me, was probably the highlight of the experience) but tell you this when you are just about to leave (it is not on display). Would I recommend - possibly if you are not someone who is fussy with their dessert. However, if you do want to see Singapore at night - it truly is the best view in the whole city with the bonus of dessert. So really, 38sgd is not too bad for a great view with a lot of dessert (just don't expect to be amazed by the food).

We visited the Chocolate Bar with family, living in Singapore, during our visit to the Marina Bay Sands in March. This was a very pricey dessert for 5 people and we were actually a bit surprised at the poor quality of the chocolates and fruits at the time of our visit.

The chocolates and associated treats were visually stimulating and made for good pictures and the variety was on par with other nice chocolate buffets we have had in Europe, America and Hong Kong.

However, the taste was bit poor to average for almost everything we tried (ie. the chocolate fondue fruits were unripe and not sweet, the brownie style small cakes were lacking sugar and had too much cocoa from what we could tell) Many others just seemed bland and their attempts at making chocolate fusion tastes left us a bit confused, where the outcome tastes didn't quite match the description of the deserts. Perhaps they had put the wrong labels next to the chocolate trays. We couldn't quite tell what was happening. It might have just been a very bad night at the Chocolate Bar. Unfortunately, it was us left with a rather large bill, SGD$220 for 5 people, to pay for this bad night out!

We have had several very good chocolate buffets, including one we visit each here here in Hong Kong. The Chocolate Bar at the Sands was far from being one of them, at the time of our visit. Unfortunately, based on our experience there and the expensive price tag that comes with this sort of experience, we would not recommend the Chocolate Bar at the Marina Bay Sands, right now! Hopefully they were just having teething problems still and that things have improved for future guests.

The Chocolate Bar at the Marina Bay Sands is absolutely fabulous. At $38.00++ SGD per head it was worth the visit. 67 different types of Chocolate desserts. If you don't like chocolate it is not for you. It starts at 8pm nightly trough to midnight on the 57th floor of the 2nd tower in the club restaurant . The view is magnificent and the desserts are delectable. Tea, coffee or of course hot chocolate is included in the cost .
Drinks are reasonably price for a large hotel cocktails $15 - $18.00 SGD and $10 - $14.00 for regular spirits. Its a very relaxed atmosphere and not to busy if you get there early.
I would visit again.
Staff and service a bit slow with the drinks.
