We booked this hotel through Singapore Airlines, who describe this as 'Category 'A', and which we therefore assumed would be on the upmarket side of average. Sadly not so. This is a very busy hotel, with vast numbers of people coming and going at all hours of the day. The reception staff coped very well with the large variety of foreign visitors with whom they had to deal. Room facilities are spartan (one chair, no bedside lamps, poor variety of tv channels), but a fridge and complimentary water are supplied. Bathrooms are very small, but towels and complimentary toiletries were perfectly ok. Curiously. the handbasins in both our rooms leaked from a hole in the underside onto the floor and we wondered if this was some sort of Asian overflow feature. Coffee provided in the rooms was vile (powdered milk); breakfast in the open-air dining room was buffet-style ($14), and provided a wide variety of choice, but of average quality. Fruit juice (astonishingly in this part of the world) was watered down. Other reviewers have commented on the noise from other guests - the marble corridor floors certainly did not help here. Sleep quality was not the best; we found the aircon quite fierce and dehydrating, but things improved when we raised the temperature.The location of the hotel is very convenient for the MRT (direct link to the airport and convenient for the centre of town). The baggage storage system for late departures worked well and the staff were as friendly as possible under what were obviously less than ideal working conditions. I would not stay here by choice, especially given the wide variety of competition.

Bellman, doorman, liftboy, receptionist, room maid, housekeeper are very nice. It is upper MRT. It is conveniance for people who has big luggage or many luggage. It also have the canteen. it open 24 hours.

Room Tip: In room has hair dryer, electric kettle, refrigerator. It is free WiFi but it is very slow.

The hotel room is clean and the staff (miss Jaja) is very helpful when we need to book another room. very close to MRT and lots of restaurant around with local culiner.

will stay in this hotel again.

I decided to do a short staycation and V Hotel Lavender caught my eyes for the attractive price that they offered.

The location is unbeatable with the mrt station just around the corner. There's lots of eateries around the hotel with a kopitiam which is running at 24hrs.

Check in was smooth and the room is decent and clean. I love the pool which is a great place to chill at and the chickpea Burger served at the 4th storey restaurant is really good.

Overall I had a great stay and will definitely come back again when I need to do a short getaway.

All those reading this,please do give this place a miss!
The rooms are stinking, conjusted, and too small considering the charges that are being paid, the Air conditioners stop working at the mid of the night, the facilities are surely not up to the mark!
Do try and give it a miss... You'll find much better places to stay at Singapore at the same charge!
