I made the mistake of booking some friends of the family into this hotel. The location is mediocre and the rooms are airplane bathroom small. But the really lowlight is the incompetent hotel manager (at least the day time one). I don't want to get into details but I got into an argument with him over his stunning incompetence and he then proceed to yell at threaten the guests of his hotel that I booked in there because I was rude to him and offended him. Only in Singapore...

Room Tip: Just avoid it.

If you are on a budget this hotel is a great option. I found all the staff to be very helpfull. The rooms are small but this is expected in most asian budget hotels. I have been in smaller.
Pool is great and well maintained. Location is good. Maccas and Starbucks just a short walk away for those looking to stick with coffee and burger set. Im a electronics / gagets / computer buyer and this hotel is right next door to the largest colloection of these retailers (Sim Lim Square). Taxis are cheap in Singapore so getting to Orchard road and other shopping areas is not costly.

Room Tip: Pool side rooms on the 4th floor would be my prefered option if available.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to hear that you had enjoyed your stay with us!

Yes, Sim Lim Square, about 5 mins walk from our hotel, is a large retail complex that offers a wide variety of electronic goods and services. As the prices of these goods might differ among the shops, we would like to advise our guests to do some pricing comparisons and shop hopping before committing to their purchases.

The hotel itself is well maintained. We took MRT to Little India and dragged our luggage from the station (Exit A) to the hotel with not much difficulties (including crossing two road intersections and walking quite a distance). The attitude of the receptionist staff is adequate, not too friendly but efficient enough for a fast check in.

Positives:
- Hotel smells nice and is actually clean
- Walking distance to MRT
- Close to Sim Lim Square, Bugis Junction, Peace Center and other malls and eating places
- 7-11 shop right next door that opens 24 hours!!
- Room is of decent size, enough to fit 2 adults with 2 luggage with sufficient space (not too big though)
- AC is on the cold side. Hotel provided 2 small bottles of mineral water everyday

Negatives:
- Shower has no door (glass partition is WAY too small) so basically you are drenching (read: flooding) the whole bathroom when you shower (what kind of architect plans this???)
- WIFI is not provided and it costs $10 per day to get one from the hotel (I just went out and buy Singtel SIM card instead)
- Window does not filter much of the noise from the street outside
- Have to walk a little bit to get a taxi unless you are lucky enough to get one passing by the area

Overall it was a good business hotel for the price. I wish they would do something about the shower/bathroom so I don't have to walk through wet floor after every shower. 7-11 right next door is a big plus for me. I'd come back given the appropriate nature of my trips (business that is)

• Handy location near Albert Mall and Little India Train station.
• Quite rooms with double glazed windows
• Air-conditioning works well.
• Hotel is new and modern and generally preset as neat and tidy.
• Staff friendly and helpful
• Very small room
• Wardrobe limited in storage space, with 3 inbuilt coat hangers that would not hold trousers, with no-where else to store gear.
• Bed very firm
• Bathroom too small. Shower recess is too small and the glass shower recess glass walls do not stop water from going all over the floor as there is no door or even curtain on the shower.
• Bathroom only average clean and should be better.
• Mould on the shower grout
• One cockroach killed in the room!

If you are wanting a well located that hotel that is overall good, then this a good option.

We found the staff pleasant and helpful. The room was a shoebox the shower was quite small and water ended up in nearly all the bathroom. The location is excellent walking distance to Little India, the arts district, lots of shopping and train station. The breakfast was appalling don't eat there. Walk passed the College 2 blocks and there is a very good baker with coffee on the left. This was a cheap yummy breakfast. The pool was nice but a few more deck chairs would've been good. You pay for what you get, it wasn't expensive and was pleasant enough.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get 4th floor poolside. Everybody will see you.

Good location close to Sim Lim Square and Little India, clean rooms, however very small rooms. The lack of free WiFi is annoying, and the shower doesnt have a curtain or door, so the floor and toilet seat gets soaking wet. The gym is tiny, and when we stayed the treadmill was broken, not good for keen runners who arent used to running in the hot/humid Singapore climate!

There are probably better options in the price range but it is a nice enough hotel if you are stuck for choice. Staff were pleasant and we had no issues checking in/out.
