Stayed here 1 night prior to a cruise. Location was a little hard to find after getting off the Subway at Novena stop. (it is about 3 blocks away, though best to get a map, I paid for a cab ride of about $4 SGD.. ). Check in was quick. I was recognized as a Accor member.
Room was small (as expected for the price) and this was my first time at an Ibis hotel. There is not much space in the room, but luggage fit with room to walk around with out squeezing. No water bottles were offered (sign above faucet said tap water is drinkable). Room was clean. I did not like the all in 1 shampoo/body wash, though there was separate soap.
There is a grocery store less than a block away, along with a few places to eat.
I slept well, no noises and missed the breakfast (late breakfast started), so I ended up eating at a Toast place next to the grocery store.
Check out was quick.

I feel very disappointed after my stay at the IBIS Singapore Novena. The hotel is extremely budget with very slow bedroom amenities and decorative finishes.

The partially tiled bathrooms are a joke, the really small shower was horrible and very time you had a shower it soaked the whole room. The glass door banged against the toilet seat very time you used the shower.

The air conditioning did not work properly and I end up being very uncomfortable for the 4 unpleasant nights I spent. You do have a small mini fridge which can only hold about 2 bottles of water at anytime. This mini fridge again was pointless as blowing on my drink would make it colder.

The bedrooms are very loud and you can hear everything from the corridor. The biggest problem I had was the bedroom view looked into several other bedrooms, and being you have no net blinds you had to keep your bedroom curtains closed at all times to have any privacy.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, spend a little more and get a better standard of hotel. I will not be back.

This hotel is not so well located if you are in Singapore as a tourist. The only avantage is that the price is quite cheaper than others hotels.
The room is very small like most of the ibis hotel brand.
The quality of breakfast is medium with not so much choice. The room for the breakfast is very small compare to the number of bedrooms and not nice located as just next to the front desk in the open area. If you would like to have breakfast, take care to deal the price of the room including the breakfast as separate the breakfast is too expansive for what they offer.

Although our hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of city life, we are just 7 minutes walk to the Novena MRT station and 5 minutes train ride to shopping paradise at the Orchard Road. To better serve our guests, we also provide complimentary shuttle bus service to bring our guests to these locations. Guests can approach our friendly staff at the front office to pre-book the shuttle bus to bring them to these places.

Our price for continental breakfast is benchmarked against hotels within our vicinity at a very competitive rate. We will feedback your comment to our chefs to review our breakfast items.

I stayed here with my husband for 5 nights. The room was quite small for the both us. I didn't have space to unpack my clothes so I left them in the suitcase and only unpacked my husband's clothes. We didn't really spend a lot of time in the hotel, we were pretty much exploring Singapore all day and only coming back to the room to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was always clean. The bathroom didn't have too many amenities and the water pressure in the shower was somewhat weak.

The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Some days we'd come down to find that some of the food was already gone and had to ask for it..

The closest metro station was about 10 minutes away. You have to walk uphill for 5 minutes or so and then downhill for another 5 minutes. The trip back to the hotel was always tiring after walking around all day in Singapore!
