“Still memorable 3 years later! Great if you appreciate design”

Loved it and will be going back on my next visit.
It is definitely geared towards people who appreciate design so if this is not your thing, it may not be worth it but if it is, it is one of the most memorable design museums I have been to.
It is divided into categories and has the best winning designs per categories.

“for those who like science and engineering.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Great place to spend a few hrs. the museum shows award winning design of house hold items like cups, bowls, sinks chairs etc. As well as motercycle and car designs. Also shows many concept designs. Well worth seeing but plan for a few hours not a whole day. easy to get there from the subway system. also near the china town area of Singapore so you can take in two thing from one stop. Was there for business meeting and social gathering.

“A must see experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013

For someone looking for something different, an off the beaten path experience, this is a must see. Located near china town, near the Buddha temple, this museum offers insights into how design and different thinking can make life simpler, better, easier. As far as museums go, its more relevant to present day life and not a peek into history.

“MAAD-ed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

Took a walk during a MAAD (Market of Artists And Designers) night! Admission is free on the 1st Friday night of each month. There's a flea market where designers/people sell their art & craft or some snacks. I spotted cupcakes & marcoons that night.

Quite an eye opener.I bought paste-on tattoos.
