“Clean and comfortable”

I agree with a previous review about giving it a three and a half. Its not cheap but there are some freebies that come with the room, e.g. a simple breakfast, a complimentary mini bar, evening cocktails and a good supply of toiletries. When compared to the price of other accommodation in Singapore, its about the going rate. The staff were helpful and when we checked in, the receptionist warned us that the room we had pre-booked was very small and advised that an executive room was available if we wanted to upgrade, which we did and found that there was sufficient space, although there was no window so the room was quite dark. The bathroom had a fabulous shower, but it did not have adequate lighting for makeup. The location in Little India has a lot of good cheap eateries close by.

Frankly, if I could, I would probably give about a three and a half. For the room, the price is high, but not higher than others in Singapore, where you almost always pay an arm and a leg for a hotel room. The staff was very nice. There were 5 free cocktails per room per night in the lobby from 5 to 7 P.M. Also, the mini bar was free. It consisted of water, juice, and two beers, replenished each day. The free breakfast was not phenomenal, but decent. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are very small. If you need a room for anything but sleeping, forget it. Also, there are buildings connected on each side, so the only rooms with windows are the rooms at the front and back of the building. The rooms with no windows have a curtain, so at night you kind of feel like there is a window. The bathroom was fairly large, but it did not have adequate lighting for shaving or makeup. The location is in Little India, and in a somewhat run down area, but I felt safe enough. No restaurant or bar. There is an area off the lobby with tables for breakfast and the happy hour cocktails.

Room Tip: If you need a window, ask when you make the reservation, then remind them you asked when you check i...

We stayed in Moon Hotel for 4D/3Ns in August. We reached the hotel around 10am. The staff at the desk was rather loud and was "advising" us to book an extra night earlier if we're arriving 2 hours before checkin. I was super tired and jet legged hence didn't want to entertain her stupidity. We were sitting at the sofa yawning away hoping to get our room ASAP. Around 12 noon we were given our room.

The rooms are small, modernly furnished with heaps of toiletries and a well stocked mini-bar which is complimentary. Wi-fi is also free. They provide breakfast daily with free cocktails from 5 to 7pm daily. Lots of freebies with this establishment but when you calculate the price it's all added up.

The rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Ever ready to give information on how to get to places and call cabs. The rooms are dark as there isn't any window available. We payed for an 'executive room' which was supposed to come with a window but our room didn't have one. I didn't bother asking for a change as we weren't in the room most of the time.

The bathroom had a huge glass window which was facing the bed. It may get a bit uncomfortable if you're sharing the room with a friend. Bed was decent and clean but the lighting wasn't good. The whole room was dim.

I would recommend this hotel for those who are looking to spend the night and have a good shower.

Room Tip: Rooms are relatively small so don't go with expectations.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the suite to have a retreat before our wedding. The suite was spacious, nicely decorated and have spacious balcony and a small pool. We invited a few friends over and it was spacious enough to play host.
I have the pool area and the shower room as the design is trendy and gives a very relaxing feel.
The only down side was there is mild curry smell in the evening which somehow doesn't give the romantic feel if you choose to soak in the pool in the evening.

A one-night staycation at this property located in the Little India district. Only two streets from the main road and between two train stations, so getting around the island should not be a problem. Also a shopping mall is located about 5 minutes walk away.
Room-wise, we were given a third-floor no windows room. The room is very small, so if you are on the larger-built side, you are better-off elsewhere. Unless you are staying alone in the room. Also not recommended for friends traveling together as the bath and toilet are separated from the sleeping area by just a glass panel.
Breakfast-wise, very limited choice but still can-do. If you are staying for more than 2 nights, I would recommend you to try local-style breakfast down the streets.
All-in-all, a stay-able hotel if you are looking to clean up and sleep.

Room Tip: Do ask for a room with windows

We stayed for three nights at the Moon hotel. The rooms are very small, but clean and practical. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was simple but nice. Overall, a nice hotel for people who just want to discover Singapore and also want to stay in a okay hotel.
