Very good safe location in great 'surburban business area showcasing high end cafes and restaurants plus a great variety of local restaurants and food courts close to mrt and approx 15 min walk to centre of chinatown everything on your doorstep inc. supermarket , deli, traditional chineese massage etc etc . There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room RESULT!
A bonus was the Monkey Festival
when our street was cordonned off for a HUGE street party celebration tonight we walked out of the hotel to be greeted by a chinese theatre performance great stuff

However I do agree there were some negative points yes the air conditonning need some serious attention as the temperaure fluctuates dramatically the beds were quite hard, the pillows like bricks , the sheets need renewing as they were quite threadbare ,as were the towels , not enough plugsockets for recharging and no bedside lights or individual light switches the corridors need some sound proofing and some signs asking guests to be considerate to other guests by observing some courtesy when returning late at night !

After having to climb in bath tubs almost waist high to use a shower throughtout Europe the wet shower was a welcome change

The strange hotchpotch team of young recption staff team were very polite and helpful

For a short stay its ok

After reading many reviews from trip advisor, I went ahead and booked this hotel. The room is small and just enough for 2 couple. No extralace to sit on the floor. Upon reaching, it is easy to find the hotel.

I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. It is cheap and nasty. The beds are plastic!! The location is not China Town which they need to change the location title. The rooms are very basic and not worth the money at all.

Did not like my stay at all especially for what you are paying. I wanted a refund but agoda doesn't allow you to.

Positive note: The staff were fantastic still not enough to justify what they charge for these rooms

Room Tip: Don't book this hotel at all! You will be disapointed

The hotel is ok in the sense that it is reasonably priced, the location is fine, the rooms are clean and the receptionists are reasonably efficient. My issue was first of all with the bed - the plastic mattresses are really annoying as the sheets slip off them and you end up sleeping on a plastic surface. The other annoyance was the Air Conditioning which was sometimes too hot and then would quickly become too cold. It meant that I didnt sleep well throughout the trip, which is rare for me!
Otherwise, its ok and is reasonable as just somewhere clean to stay.

Stayed 2 nights in June 2013. Great location, but the rooms really weren't soundproof so I had trouble sleeping and am pretty sure I heard several late night liasons in great detail, the air conditioning didn't work properly on the second night, the rooms are tiny but that would be okay if there was a bedside table with a power point for charing your phone etc.

Basically, it's not worth the money.

If you do stay, try the Tiong Bahru Bakery down the road, fantastic coffee and pastries, and Strangers' Reunion around past the hospital is also fantastic.
