Okay, the design of the rooms might not suit everyone but I loved it and thought it was a very clever use of space.

I stayed in the premier loft type room with the bed in the loft area, which was extremely comfortable. Room temperature was perfect, air con was quiet and didn't need to be touched. Not loads of room in the lower part of the room but it works; 3 of our friends somehow managed to share one room!

Free wifi works well, the pool is long and great for 'proper' swimming, also a small gym but didn't use this. Bar is good with a great selection of beers from around the world. Location is great for both for the overpriced bars and restaurants in the quays, and the fantastically cheap restaurants and hawker centres of Chinatown.

Would highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings of this hotel!
our room was fine, in fact very well planned.
location in a great spot easy to get around
breakfast was good lots of variety
day 2, my kids got a bug from the swimming pool , it floored them they didnt lea ve the hotel for 4 days and we were only there for 6. Staff didnt want to know and I had to fight to get late checkout as they couldnt walk around and we left at 7 that nite.
they said they would treat it so I hope they do my kids are 6 and 8 a baby could have been very ill. and we had gone thru Malaysia and Penang with out a problem.....a shame as I feel we need to go back to do the things we missed as Singapore a great City

Quite a funky hotel half-way in between Orchard Road & Chinatown. I liked my loft room and loved the pillowy soft bed but I wouldn't recommend this place if you suffer vertigo (the stairs are steep) or claustrophobia (the toilet & shower are of broom closet dimensions). The hotel has a leafy, open-air dining and bar area with comfy chairs, a lap pool & jacuzzi where the reasonably good buffet breakfast is served.

This hotel was great a real change from the usual hotel. The loft style is awesome and the hotel itself is great.

Pros: location is superb, loft style rooms are very cool and a nice change from traditional hotel, food was so good, nice pool, close to Robertson quay and Clarke quay.

Cons: getting a taxi can be a pain, rate is high, breakfast was extra from Agoda rate, rooms style is different for premier/premium (one has bed downstairs, other has the loft arrangement...you want the upstairs bed, or the room feels way too small)

Just back from Singapore for a birthday weekend and luckily we discovered this fantastic hotel with a unique room, friendly and professional staff and what a great location being right in the middle of everything at Robertson Quay.
I had a reservation here but wanted to be sure it was a nice room as we had a bad experience at another property across town so we popped in for an inspection and Natalie from the front office showed us around. She was so great and really sold the property. The room is loft style which is very cool compared to the standard room type available in Singapore can be quite small so this gives you the feeling of extra space. We enjoyed the river and city skyline view so much and the many restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Would highly recommend a night walk along the Singapore river going either direction from the hotel. the popular Clarke Quay is a short walk and Chinatown is also near by. One extra bonus is they have Illy coffee :)

Room Tip: we saw every room and they were all very nice but who could pass up a view of the Singapore River.

Split level room with lots of interesting design features. Only for the agile though, have a look at the photos before booking as it won't suit everyone. Very comfortable bed though not much headroom on one side and against the wall. Loo in a cupboard is a bit cramped but the rest of the room feels spacious for a city hotel. Huge full wall window. Unfortunately the room, despite looking clean, smelled very bad which was still noticeable on waking. The rest of the hotel areas were fine.

Breakfast is served in the open air, had a good selection and was tasty. Very friendly service.
