I spent 3 nights here on a short holiday with my sister- overall felt it was good value for money. Clean, modern rooms although very small. The swimming pool was under maintenance whilst we were there, and will be for the next 3 months which is something we wish we had known before staying as this was the main reason we booked. The breakfast was a mixed selection... Toast, cereal, coffee, orange juice every morning, then different Asian foods like egg fried rice, fried fish, fried chicken. Staff friendly, but were unable to give us information about transport to tourist attractions ( we asked about getting to the zoo, to sentosa island and then getting a bus into Malaysia. Unable to help with any of these things). Perhaps there was a communication barrier. Not hugely relevant, but something I found amusing- one of the staff asked if I'd been drinking one morning. I was a bit surprised, given that it was 9am and asked why. She replied 'because your face is so pink!'. I am blonde, with fair skin, so am often a bit pink in the Singapore climate... I found this funny, but in future would advice the staff not to comment on their guests skin colour, because I think some people wouldn't have taken this so well!!
