The museum is easy to find, friendly staffs and enjoyed Emily of Emerald Hill, especially the video presentation. Thank you.

The museum was nice. But the info given was so plain, i cant feel like im in the middle of the peranakan. For me still lack information. And they dont create their house turn into a real peranakan architectural.

Actually im expecting being on a peranakan home with their awesome meubel, but it is only by movie.

It is a very well design and didactic interactive museum. Without even a tour guide you can learn how the past and actual Singaporean(peranakan) culture was developed. Very interesting.

Tiny Singapore's history is fascinating, heartbreaking, complicated and ultimately triumphant. From the Chinese travelers on the monsoon winds and their relationship with the native peoples, to one of the most modern and successful cities in the world, the museum puts it all in perspective and tells the story in a most interesting way. I've been there twice and will go again if my travels bring me back this way.

Peranakans are mixed-race Sinaporeans, but the museum seemed to be mostly themed around Chinese heritage. Lovely old building, and displays were very educational.
