“Good averagely priced hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

We stayed here in December for three nights before flying on to Phuket. We arrived at 8.30am ready to check in after a long 12 hour flight.

Unfortunately it hadn't even occurred to me that we couldn't check in until 2pm otherwise I'd have per-arranged it but luckily the hotel reception were very accommodating and found us a room by 10am. The concierge couldn't be more helpful and offered us somewhere to change in the pool area too.

On a whole the hotel was very clean, the staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms had everything you'd need, but we're a little on the small side.

We found the location quite central to the tourist areas and nicely placed just off of Clarke Quay.

One negative would be the lobby/poolside wi-fi. It works on an hourly basis with the reception staff giving you another slip of paper with an access code on to re-login. Free unlimited wi-fi would be much better, most of Singapore is free wi-fi enabled anyway and I'm guessing people staying at the Park Hotel are not necessarily there to surf the web 24-7.

We would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

This is a great hotel ideally situated for the city. We would really recommend upgrading to the crystal club. This meant that we were able to check in early and have a free breakfast on arrival; enjoy a lovely breakfast in the club lounge every day; canapés and drinks each day in the early evening ( the canapés were so filling that if you eat at lunchtime you will not need another big meal!); late check out which meant we still had access to our room at 5.30pm on check out day. The staff are delightful and really helpful. The room, whilst not huge was very adequate and had all the essentials. The pool area is very attractive and an ideal spot to unwind after a day in the city. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.
If you are travelling with Singapore airlines then keep the boarding pass as it will get you discounts on the buses and various other attractions

Room Tip: Choose the crystal club. The rooms are higher.

I stayed here while visiting family. This hotel is ideal location if you don't want to be in the busy heart of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and fresh. The room was excellent and internet access was free. The pool is a good size with nice view of city. The hotel is near Clarke quay MRT station which makes it handy to get about the city. All rooms have AC. There are cheaper hotels but i was glad i spent the extra money and made the holiday a wonderful trip to an amazing city.

Room Tip: best view is from back of hotel which looks over the pool and onto the city.

We arrived in Singapore in the evening having decided to break our journey to Brisbane. The sights en route from the airport to the hotel were impressive and we were looking forward to our short stay. The hotel appeared welcoming and the reception staff pleasant. We were shown to our "superior twin room" of this 4 star hotel - this proved to be a very basic small double room. We didn't mind too much as it was for only one night. However as we started to unpack we realised that the room was dirty. It simply hadn't been cleaned. Dirty surfaces, fingerprints on all the glass tops, drinks rings, even the glasses in the bathroom were dirty. After a quick shower we realised the bath plug didn't work so the bath wouldn't empty. At this point, despite it being an inconvenience when we were so tired we asked to be moved. We were offered a club room which although clean smelt of cigarette smoke and we had specified non- smoking andIt only had a shower, no bath.
In the morning we ate breakfast outside as there were insufficient tables in the restauant for the size of hotel. The food was adequate, however the poached eggs were cooked to order and very good.

Room Tip: Ask for a high level room and to see it first

FANTASTIC! wonderful hotel and excellent staff thank you to everyone.

hotel in nice location near Clark Quay and about 10 mins walk to nearest MRT, the hotel does have a shuttle bus that runs at various time through the day.
Construction work is being carried out near the hotel I think they are building a new MRT, but this did not distract from the hotels amenities.

We had a club room, although the room was small, it was well equipped , but we did use the executive club as a lounge area.
The staff service within the Crystal Club was superb. They even helped to plan out day, on sight seeing and much to my husbands delight shopping too!
The club rate included breakfast, complimentary soft drink and snacks during the day and cocktails and
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Room Tip: its worth paying the extra for Crystal Club room on the 9th and 10th floor

We had booked a superior grade double room 5 months ago, Arrived on the 5 February to be told rooms are allocated on arrival and we were given a very small twin bedded room on the second floor overlooking the drive in entrance with no privacy. The male receptionist was quite condesecending and only offered an better room still overlooking the rear of the hotel for $90 more per night! Apparently all the rooms at the front of the hotel (as shown on their website and brochures) were full. The manager was not availabe as he was already dealing with complaints from other clients who had been allocated incorrect roooms. We will take the matter up with Trailfinders.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a club room on a high floor with a pool view, if not available then dont stay.

Stayed here for 5 nights on our way back to UK from Vietnam.
The Hotel is a typical Singapore tourist class hotel. The hotel is in a good position at the end of Clarke Quay. The nearest MRT station is 10 minutes walk away at Clarke Quay. There is a lot of construction work on a new MRT station (Fort Canning) nearby, but it doesn't cause a problem as there are plenty of marked pedestrian routes through the works. Noise isn't a problem.
The hotel is very good. Our only complaint is that the rooms are very small. There is no place to open your suitcases and you have to leave them upright and shut if you want to move around the room.
We didn't eat in the hotel as it was expensive but the menu looked good. There is a great food court nearby in the Liang Court shopping complex. Recommend the roti pratas at the Indian (halal) counter.
The swimming pool is very good but there is shortage of recliners and chairs and you have sometimes wait before they come available.
The lobby area is small with not enough seats. There always seemed to be a of people waiting
for flights after they had checked of of their rooms.
Service very good especially front of house.
Overall a very good hotel but appears to be cramped on space in the rooms, swimming pool, and the lobby. Apart from that I would recommend it.
