The first thing you'll notice about this hotel is it's on two sides of the road and chances are you'll go to the wrong one.
Staff are excellent and extremely helpful. We arrived early morning but had no issues with early check in.
Room was clean, breakfast was good and location fine with an MRT station withing about 10 minutes walk. Despite the heat during the day, this was fine.
As advertised, it is located in the middle of Little India so it's loud in the evening but the noise didn't go on late.
Expect a wake up call with very loud bells at 7.30am though!
A unique experience but 10 out of 10 for helpful staff!

Room tip: Ask for the main tower - it might be a little quieter in the morning!

Dear Mike B,

Thank you so much for your honest feedback! I can see that despite we did not get the maximum rating, you rated our team 10 out of 10, which is the most important to us, the service we provide to our guests.

We truly hope to see you returning very soon!

A great new (relatively) addition to Singapore's hotel scene ... slap bang in the middle of the vibrant, colourful and handily central 'Little India' enclave. The Hilton Garden Inn is located between Serangoon Rd and Race Course Rd with it's own Little India MRT station nearby ... and right next to the bustling Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple. There's plenty of activity all around Little India and the Garden Inn ... and plenty of restaurants serving good Indian food. Many of these are relatively new and cater to the many 'tourists' now currently flocking to the area ... but ... do yourself a favour and chose the older more established 'banana leaf' restaurants on the street behind the Garden Inn where the locals eat. Food is just as good ... the atmosphere is better ... and it's a lot cheaper!
As this trip coincided with 2019 Diwali celebrations the streets (and restaurants) were crowded. The upside was the amazing colourful festival decorative lights draped all the way down Serangoon Rd.
The Hilton staff were attentive, helpful and knowledgable ... the breakfast (Indian, Western or Chinese) served at the 8th floor restaurant (with a view and a pool) ... enjoyable ... especially the 'made to order omelettes'.
All in all a great place to soak up oodles of Indian atmosphere without actually visiting India ! (but I still travelled to Mumbai the next day :-) )

Dear BrianCassey,

A big thank you for giving us the highest score, and for your fantastic comments!

We are so happy to learn that you enjoyed your stay and Little India so much. Indeed, it is a vibrant and authentic neighbourhood, and especially colourful during festivities as Deepawali.

We hope to see you back very soon!

Hilton continues to impress me with excellent service. We reached hotel and were attended immediately with quick checkin. Room was booked for 3 and staff had already made bed for 3rd person. This is what I call a perfect arrangement. Staff was very responsive and helped us at every step. My first trip to Singapore was excellent and Hilton team made is very comfortable and cozy. Their pleasant smile and drive for customer service is simply the best. Location is perfect for Indian travellers as this is located in Little India and you will get good Vegetarian Indian cuisine especially South Indian. Overall 10/10 to Hilton for location and service. My next stay will be here whenever I travel to Singapore.

Room tip: Rooms are not very large, so plan stay accordingly if travelling with larger group

This hotel is a short walk from Little India MRT.
Check in was a little slow, as only 2 staff on desk, with several guests waiting.
Room was as expected, with a fridge and daily water, and reasonable bathroom facilities.
There as a frosted glass between the bathroom and bedroom, meaning that as soon as the bathroom light is turned on, the bedroom is lit up, and the other guests woken by the light.
There are night light switches for both the bedroom and bathroom, but when waking in the middle of the night, it was easy to turn the wrong one on. Also the night light switches emit a blue light which we needed to cover to make the room darker.
I had requested a high floor room, as it reduced outside noise, however we were given one on the 4th floor across the walkway. There as a lot of traffic noise during evening and early mornings. The glass does not appear to be double glazed.
We did have breakfast on one day, but found it overpriced for the full breakfast. The Western choice was missing items such as mushrooms, tomatoes to make it worth the extra.
Friendly staff and front desk and cleaning services.
Overall, a good hotel, and we would recommend and use this hotel again for future stays in Singapore.

Room tip: Avoid the rooms over the walkway, as they are closer to the main street in Little India, with quite a bit of overnight noise

Dear Nigel,

I truly appreciate the time you took to share your experience! As per your rating and comments, I am happy to see that we met your expectations, and extremely glad to know that you would stay with us again in the future, and recommend our hotel as well.

The comment about the frosted glass panel is not the first one we receive, and I have shared with our corporate design team, for future hotels/projects, to avoid similar issues. My apologies for this inconvenience.

Please, take note that the room location depends on the room type booked. Therefore, for king guest rooms, they are located in the lower floors next to the temple. For your future visits, I suggest to book a Deluxe room or twin room, which are located in the main building, 9th floor and above.

We look forward to be welcoming you back soon!

Dear mehmettaran,

Thank you very much for having chosen us for your stay during ITB Asia. I can see that you enjoyed the hotel overall, however, there is room for improvement in terms of breakfast. Thank you for your suggestion.

Regarding the lounge, at Hilton Garden Inn branded hotels, we do not have Executive Lounges, since we are focused service hotels with limited facilities. You can find Executive Lounge at most of our Hilton and Conrad branded hotels.

I hope you will still continue to choose the Hilton family of brands for your future travels.

Kind regards,
