The only great thing about this restaurant is that it's in the heart of a very lively area in Singapore - Haji Lane, right next to Arab Street. Besides that the food is disgusting and it's way overpriced (even compared to the high prices in this area). Don't think you'll eat some good mezze around a shisha. The pita bread was stale and the hummus oily - probably kept in the fridge for days. On top of that, we paid 25$ for the shisha...

I will never go back there, don't make the same mistake.

Altazzas restraunt stands out in Haji Lane due to its bright yellow fascade. It is a small restraunt serving Egyptian meals. You can sit like an Egyptian on a cushion or dine at a table and chair. Haji Lane is narrow and busy and interesting.
This is an alcohol free restraunt.
The dips need to warm before eating. The kebabs and schwarmas were fully of flavour and reasonably priced. We had an enjoy dining experience chatting with the owners and staff. The food was great amnd bought back memories of Egypt.
If staying at the Parkroyal walk through the Arab area over Beach Rd, its fun and there are some interesting shops. Enjoy the food experience.
